I was in ffx strings in elementary school, pretty much a waste of time and resources. The kids that are going to do well are going to get private teachers anyway, so they don't need the school's program. Area strings and band are just fine for that level without taking time away from the actual school day.

Libraries are pretty obsolete. They should keep all the books in a single distribution center and take them to libraries when someone orders a specific book, kinda like netflix. Instead of books the libraries should simply be filled with computers for internet access.

I graduated from LB a couple years ago. I'm not sure about tons of middle school parties, though the LB high schoolers certainly have them. In my opinion LB seemed to be going downhill while I was there and from what I've heard from parents/siblings of friends, it doesn't seem to be getting better.
