That may be true, but it probably makes more sense to heed ALL extreme weather predictions - which, though usually backed by as much meteorological science as the team can gather at the time, don't always turn out to be 100% accurate - since you never know which one is going to be the right prediction (unless you're both a meteorologist yourself AND calc'ing the weather data hour-by-hour.)
