Fairfax Station is where the search to my knowledge is occurring/ was occurring. Sorry. I just heard Henderson Rd, so I assumed (before the news report came out) that meant it could either be Fairfax Station or Clifton, because Henderson runs through both addresses.

Thanks for the link. That's extremely helpful. I just got back from Fair Lakes and the undercover cop car is gone. We saw a couple others leaving the area too. I think the search is over. Anyone with info keep us updated. I wonder why the guy ran. Probably drugs.

I was on my way home, I live near Henderson also, and an under cover cop car pulled into my driveway. The officer (who for about an hour was parked in on my street near the woods) said that they were trying to catch someone near Henderson and to stay inside with the doors locked. No official report yet though, but I have seen a search helicopter circling the area.

There is a fugitive on the run in the Fairfax Station/ Clifton area that surrounds and is in proximity of Henderson Road. There appears to be a police search being conducted now. Officers are warning local residents to stay inside with the doors locked.

Well there's no arguing that. Clearly both you and Washington Tone Logian are products of a good education, you certainly know your history. So let's keep that intelligence up. Save Clifton Elementary!

Yeah that founding father who wrote that document called the Declaration of Independence, who was a slave owner, hated slaves so much he just had to make one his mistress. And to answer the poster interesting question's post, I understand what you are saying about the correlation between racial minorities and poor grades, gangs, and drugs. The problem is not their race. It's their bad upbringi

I understand what you are saying KeepOnTruckin, you and I as always tend to understand agree on the same concepts in threads. But let me state this. You're always going to have people of lower incomes/different upbringings in a community and at a school. This isn't the Upper East Side of Manhattan or Greenwich, Connecticut where the whole population is wealthy and well brought up. These lower i

As the previous poster just stated, that is a practice known as racism and racial segregation. Look you could be White, Black, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Asian, whatever the race, as long as you have good morals, a good upbringing, and are shielded from negative influences and are put in the right academic and social environment then you'll be fine. The environment kids are put in is the proble

So you're suggesting to bring back segregation then?

Well there would be a lot less complaining if the county actually did their jobs and didn't screw things up all the time. If there is one thing Fairfax County Public Schools should be proud of it is Clifton Elementary and its students.

I don't think race truly has a part of it, I think the social atmosphere does though. Yes, Clifton is an area whose residents consist mainly of white upper middle class-wealthy families who support good family values, morals, and the good upbringing of their children. This therefore vastly excludes negative influences from leaking into the Clifton area, and therefore causing no harm to its resid

I personally think they should keep a Clifton Elementary and not bus kids off to other schools and further cause overcrowding and community massacring issues but instead build a new elementary school or renovate the current one. It's the concept of a Clifton Elementary the Clifton Community needs not the current building necessarily. Clifton residents want the small school setting that allows c

There are certain roots to the legend that have been debated and argued about over time. I myself am not a believer in the actual legend, but instead in the roots of the legend; the actual events that happened that have been morphed into the legend. Check my Bunny Man Legend Analysis article out on the article section on this website, it might give you some insight on what I like to call "the po

That's cool, and the kind of stuff I'm looking for. I assume since Virginia had a big role in the Civil War (such as housing the Confederate Capital and several significant battles) that there are many Civil War Ghost Legends and Stories around. I've read many books on this subject and researched many topics relative to this, and not once did I stumble upon this story. So thank you RESton Peace,

That's a good one. I don't truly consider that local as in Fairfax County but sure. That's a great one for the East Coast Virginia area.

All these people are like Fairfax Underground Royalty and truly are the life of the site. Why don't you get up off your fat old ass and get a life instead of insulting the people everyone knows and likes on here.

Look what these people do (referring to those on the list in the first thread) and say is there business. Honestly I think most of them would truly be hilarious in real life and that having them as "regulars" on this site is what makes this site interesting. So back off asshole, leave these guys alone.

If there are any local urban legends anyone would like to share please do so on this thread. I know of the Bunny Man of course, but not so many others. So please feel free to post anything (even different variations of the Bunny Man Legend) from scary stories to myths of the area.
