Once you have it set, your card will just keep working. I've been using it for 2 years with no issues. Some times the refills don't show up for a day or so, but the card keeps working.

Set the thermostat where you can be comfortable; warm clothes are fine, but the space heater costs more for the same heat and is more likely to been you're house down. I haven't used them personally, but I've heard that water shoots over them in heavy rain. When I replaced my gutters, I went with the larger size gutters and downspouts. When I need to clean them, I use a Gutter Sense and a 23' extension pole from Home Depot. It probably takes me 15 minutes to do all three gutters. Different people report different results with the various gutter covers. J

Years ago, I bought a car from Rosenthal Nissan. I was recently out of college and didn't know better. I will never do any business with them again. I second the comments about blown-in. I used the Attic Cat from Home Depot and it was pretty easy. A helper is a really good idea. If you have clean up to do, the long hose from the Attic Cat fits a shop-vac, so you can leave the shop-vac on the ground. I used that trick to clean up some overflow under the attic hatch. Good luck
