I'm a huge fan of Peruvian chicken (pollo brasso) and the best place is Pollo Real behind the Chipotle and Bank of America in Herndon. Make sure to get Yuca instead of fries. Well worth it. Another good place is El Pollo Rico in Arlinton/Ballston but they don't have Yuca. I'm also a fan of BWU in Fairfax. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. We ended up going to The Melting Pot which was VERY good. I highly recommend it to everyone. They even gave us free extra desert pieces to mop up the rest of our molten bailey's & dark chocolate.

My sister and I are trying to think of a good place to take our mom for dinner on mom's day. The traffic has subsided a bit, but I would still stay away on the weekends unless its real important. Nights early on in the week are probably the best time to go. I believe they are open until midnight too. A great thing I like about weggies is that you can weigh your own produce and print out a bar code so there are no more issues with price checks and what not. I suppose you could also screw

Ah yes, like somegirl mentioned, Fat Tuesdays at University Mall has live music a lot and their food is pretty tasty as well. You might also want to try Kilroy's at Braddock and 495, they have music in the bar as well.

Not that you can really "hang out" here, but there is a 24-hour Taco Bell on 29 in Merrifield. I don't know what it is about that place, but its gotta be the best Taco Bell ever created. Maybe its just cuz I'm usually drunk when I go there! Either way, the service is quite prompt even at 3am.
