Don't forget the rent-a-pig security guards that play police. One in particular, The Virginia State Patrol tries to stop folks in Fairfax County and HAVE made questionable arrests. They have a very negative reputation with the real police and in the Fairfax Courts.

Additionally, any experienced officer can not only defeat your radar detector but catch you with it. Don't forget the AMBULANCE Tax. The fire department charges $1000 for an ambulance transport. That is for ALL county employees too EXCEPT fire department personnel.

They weren't stealing money. They were financing their latest vacation to storm ravaged Louisiana. Anyone they "rescue" while there will be billed $1000 in accordance with the county policy of billing for ambulance service but FEMA will pay $10,000 if the victim dies.

The Board of "Stupervisers" have just raised the fine for Disabled Parking Violations, from $250 to $500. The judges didn't fine people the $250 so they definitely will not enforce the $500 fine.

I've been a paramedic and thought we were talking about Fairfax County and not New York. The majority of the county "fire fighters" couldn't hack it in NY. The paramedics "work" the hardest but have become to tool of the Board of Supervisors, with the endorsement of the union, when they started charging for their "service." If you got a job with the fire department you should be able to afford most of the county because the mjority of the hose draggers have real jobs on their days off. It is a cushy job.
