Since that store has self-checkout, I can only surmise you mean that YOU suck.

Giant stores everywhere have gone to shit since the company was sold back in the late 90's. The managers treat the employees like crap and don't have enough cashiers on duty resulting in long lines.

Wegmans has the best customer service around hands down. Trader Joe's employees seem fairly happy. Shoppers is kind of hit or miss (depends on the store).

Safeway and Giant have really gone downhill over the last 10 years. All their employees seem miserable and the customer service just blows.

As a former Giant employee, albeit more than ten years ago, I agree.

I am a former Giant employee as well. And with starting pay at $6.60 an hour, what do you expect?

That's kind of what retail has become in general though. All these big chain stores owned by big clonglomerates paying crap wages. Wal-Mart led the race to the bottom if you ask me.

With the renovation goign on, its pretty crazy. But there will be a boston market in there when it is all done.

I didn't know that they were putting in a Boston Market. I guess that explains why the section that used to be produce/pre-packaged deli items is now sectioned off. It seems like a waste of space to me. I'm not impressed with Boston Market and I think that the new produce aisle seems claustrophobic.

I'd be more likely to go to Panera for a quick lunch/dinner. Then again, I don't have kids. Maybe Boston Market is more appealing to families.

my favorite aisle is the magazine aisle but I always hate it when some bitch is standing in front of the magazines I want to look at, you know you can sit down faggot

No, because they look like they have hidden weapons, or like child molesters, or like gay peoples as the previous poster validated.

the cville giant is much like the location i find myself stuck in when i'm having a nightmare. stone rd, and centreville square aren't much different.

although, i will say that the clifton giant has a different (better) client demographic. i think its the proximity to clifton. whereas the stone rd giant is near a large hispanic community, and the centreville square giant is near...well...centerville.

in other words: i never see labor lines at union mill. just homosexuals.
