Didn't say I agreed with Priebus, in fact, never heard of him before the clip. But since you mention it, how is a jab about Obama's policies a racist thing to say which is the whole point of Matthew's tirade. That and the stupid birth certificate that nobody cares about.

I love it! Priebus is a smug little weasel, like most Republicans. And Romney's 'gaffe' was a calculated move to rile up the base. Why do you think they invited Donald Trump? I'm fed up with politicians who just parrot the party line and interviewers who let them do it uncontested.

Chris Matthews is a complete dick. Granted his show is called "Hardball" but it's more like a pitching machine set on "fast ball" with no chance to respond between pitches.

Having said that, Romney and Ryan have been blowing the dog whistles pretty hard over the last few weeks. The whole point of these whistles is to send a signal to the base and fence sitters yet maintain some sort of plausible deniability. Is Romney a birther? He sure seems to be blowing that whistle.

Chris Matthews didn't blind side Priebus. The shit he brought up has been covered for days. He should have been prepared. Instead he came across as defensive, ill-prepared bitch. I chuckled when I saw Joe try to come to his rescue.

by blowing the whistle you mean that you mean the MSM keep bringing it up over, over and over and over. Is there a Romney campaign ad out by him or a super pact questioning Obama's birth certificate?

If anything Obama lied about not being a citizen to game the system for educational benefits and apparently increased book sales.

No I mean the footage I saw over the weekend of Romney "cracking a joke" about it. Was there something out of context that wasn't captured by the soundbite?
