Now for the real truth of how much your taxes will be under Obama vs Romney. This is what Romney and the GOP won't tell the middle class.

Once again republicans raise taxes on the middle class.

THE REAL TRUTH

If you make $90,000-

Tax Savings Under Obama
2013
$2,293
YOUR CONTINUED TAX SAVINGS if Congress acts on the President’s plan to extend middle-class tax cuts. Learn More

2009-2012
$3,800
YOUR TAX SAVINGS during President Obama’s first term. Learn More

Tax Increase Under Romney
2013
$884
Compared to President Obama’s plan, average families like yours—those earning between $75,000 and $99,999—would face a tax increase under Romney. Families with children would pay an average of over $2,000 more. Romney’s tax cuts for the wealthy will either raise taxes on middle-class families or explode the deficit.

I am middle class and I support the tax hikes.

Everyone else should too, unless they hate America, in that case they can git out

I have to agree. Bain Capital was responsible, not Romney directly. I'd like to see Romney come in and clean house of all these fat government contracts and overblown defense spending.

This entire area is full of yuppies that are riding high on the taxpayers dollars. More of departments around, maybe put a lot in different states like New Mexico or Montana.

Wouldn't that be a hoot? I remember when the Social Security
Administration opened a large facility in West Virginia. Lots
of folks in the DC area had to either move there or find a
new job. Blacks hated the idea and I distinctly recall a
Washington Post article interviewing several of them and they
complained that they didn't want to move there because they'd
be in a minority. Imagine a white Federal employee saying that
if told they were going to be transferred to DC from W. Va.
They'd be called every name in the book. I like the idea of
sending Yups to West Virginia. Preferably somewhere on top of
Mt. Nosebleed.

isn't being called a yuppie a good thing

"young upwards mobile professional"?

sounds like everyone who use the term simply are jealous of us yuppies who still haven't hit our potential levels, whereas you all have stagnated at some low GS level and could probably be replaced by a robot.

Let's say the country is broke. Oh wait...it is.

And let's say the only way to pay down debt, reduce the deficit and not be broke is to raise taxes.

And then let's say we've confiscated all the wealth there is from the top 10%. (they might be rich but the aren't 16 TRILLION dollars worth of rich)

And the country is still broke.

The answer to this problem is to give the middle class a tax break?

This is another one of those failed bailouts isn't it?

What the heck is a retired person doing posting on this cesspool site anyway. It boggles the mind that old people would be on here reading this crap, much less posting and contributing. When I'm an old decrepit I sure as hell won't be wasting my time hanging on a site like this. LOL

You'd be surprised how many retirees are on this forum. Keep running your mouth and you'll find out.

What me worry? I quit working or didnt you hear. Obama signed an executive order ending the work requirement to collect welfare from the successful welfare to work program. Barry feels if you want to stay on welfare for your whole life without ever bothering to look for a job its fine with him.

News Flash!

Those of us that are older than youself (which is probably everyone here except Yagirl) didn't waste our youth on message boards. We went out and earned a living and built businesses and had careers.

So we could come here now and fuck off without concern of when our parents would throw us out of the basement.

But you have fun with your plan.

These are false and ridiculous choices. The country is not broke! Giving the middle class a tax break is the best way to stimulate the conomy...the rich cant spend us out of the recession...we need a strong and healthy middle class, not a Royal caste with the predominant of wealth that they can pass down from generation to generation which will smother the upper mobility that people have experienced in this country.
