in an effort to bring back the old community spirit of this once great forum, we're getting the band back together. This is FFXU After Dark, The New Class. It will be like Saved By The Bell: The New Class. Some new faces, some old. No Mr. Belding, no Lisa Turtle.
let's end the nastiness. Let's all love each other, man. Just quit being mean and nasty you know. Just cut it out. There's no call for all this nonsense. It's unpleasant.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me
Your buddhism is idolatry and deception led by Satan. It's a religion that will lead you to HELL!
Jesus specifically said that NO ONE gets to the Father but through HIM.

There are a lot of things that are written that are not true. Just because something is written in a book does not mean that it is fact.
I can accept that you believe in something you have never seen, that people have told you exist but you have no physical proof for from your daily existence.
I just can't believe that there is a god that knows (or cares) about everything I do in life and intercedes in the daily lives of people. I don't believe there are angels, devils, a place called Heaven where we go to after we die. These are all great stories and I have enjoyed reading about all the myths and parables for moral teachings, but until Jesus calls me on the phone one morning and asks me over for breakfast, I'll just stick with my own personal experiences as my moral compass.
I don't need to fear that Santa isn't going to bring me presents for being a good boy all year. I can live my life without doing bad things and be good to my fellow man because that is the right thing to do.

Yep. I said I can accept that people believe in things that they haven't seen.
Dark matter (and Dark Energy for that matter), String Theory and Quantum Dimensions are all not tangible, they are theoretical at this point.
The difference is, I don't go around telling people to believe in these things or go to hell.

You have to admit, at least the Hindu cosmological view is more complete than the Judeo-Christian one. At least the Hindus believe that all animals and beings are part of the cosmic system of life, death and rebirth.

got a haircut today. By accident I went into a black barber shop, like a black barber shop from the black barber shop movie Barber Shop. I felt very out of place the moment I stepped in the door, and I considered backing out and going somewhere else, but I thought that might be racist, so I took a number and sat down. Lo and behold, the black barber who barbed my hair gave me the best black haircut I've ever had. I was afraid maybe I would look in the mirror when he was done and see that an obscene word was shaved into the side of my head, but no. It was fantastic.

The Asiago Ranch Chicken Fillet Sandwich from Wendy's is fantastic. Had it today for the first time. Magnificent. You know what I like that they're doing now at Wendy's----they put the sandwiches and burgers in a little burger holder....it's like the box that they put the fries in, but it's for the burgers. It's really a good idea. They gave me ketchup too, and I didn't even have to ask. Magnificent.

Dear Ronald, I was watching a bit of the Craig Ferguson show last night with guest Ray Ramono.(Actually I've grown quite tired of Craig Ferguson and only watch occasionally these days. I find his shtick quite tiresome and repetitive at this point with only the occasional bits of witty banter) I noticed that Mr. Romano's hair was black in color. Not overly black but still black. I recall seeing him last year on the tv plugging his tv show on some cable channel and his hair was quite grey. Do you think he had his hair colored grey for the part he played on the tv show of a middle aged white guy struggling with this ever changing world that we live in and now that the show has been cancelled he has returned to his naturally black hair color or he had it dyed to black to appear younger? Why at this point?

can you get in trouble for opening the person who used to live where you live's mail? It keeps coming, addressed to this person, but this person doesn't live here anymore. Am I obligated to deliver this mis-mailed mail back to the post office or something? If not, why couldn't I just open it?

^ Me too. I find Ito to be hard to disagree with most of the time. He's a pleasant voice of reason on these forums.

I was thinking some more about Ray Ramono and thought how Bob Saget would make a good tv cousin for him. Dick Van Dyke could play Ray's father and Jerry Van Dyke could be bob Saget dad. One branch of family would raise tomatoes and the other apples.
i think this could be good tv comedy
