It amazes me how we all have forgotten we were once 16. It is obvious with what I have observed from this board and the language used a level headed 16 year old doing fairly well in school and having a plan in life is a God Send!
She is actually a compliment to this board. It is obvious, the majority of what I observed, you should have been so lucky to have been Tina.

In Tina's defense, her plan to go to Johns Hopkins is admirable (if ambitious). It is a great school. You may have to work really hard, but they offer a good education and better than average financial aid.
My brother got his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins. It cost my father less than if he had attended Penn State at in-state tuition. Anyway, after getting his masters at U of Chicago and working at Harvard for a little while he returned to Hopkins for his PhD. He is currently studying starburst candy... I mean galaxies.

I have to agree that Tina is a bright spot on the board. She takes abuse from some but rolls with the punches and has a great sense of humor about it all. I vote for TINA!

I think most of the board agrees. Tina provides a much needed element to this site, and she goes with whatever comes her way.
However, unless she requests some defense, this thread is really just another *trolling* thread for support and praise -vs- jokes and abuse to grow roots. Let's not make Tina into the next "D&M" thread topic.
