WTOP: House GOP Decides to be Indefinite

WTOP reporters are saying the US House GOP has decided that something will be defined as indefinite. Awesome copy work, truly a professional news organization, a major player, serious player.

Terrible headline. Also, terrible interpretation of the U.S. Constitution. (By both Parties, but especially from those espousing that they are "strict Constructionists). All about the Constitution until it becomes inconvenient.

This is a bi-partisan fuck up. There was bi-partisan support for the measure and bi-partisan opposition. You could have just as easily said "especially from those espousing that they are 'civil libertarians.'"

No history supports the constitution being suspended or not applying in extreme circumstances. Civil War, WW2 ect. You can disagree with what they are doing, but considering that this has happened over and over again in our history especially with traitors which is what an american terrorist is, they are in fact being a strick constructionist and using the constitution how it has always been used
