Actually, I have not been on the air the past two days because of some excuse which I cannot remember. Something about wires or something, I don't know. I'll be back Monday with an all new show!

I thought it was fucked up that they take off thurs and friday-prolly a spat over oscar not being there...when thursday night was the kick off for the oakton wine shop having their big spring fling event.

Its a sponsor of the show and Im sure they wanted some promos going out on thursday, the actual day of their spring wine tasting event. Douche bags mailed it in, canceled the show, and IMHO screwed over a good sponsor who has a great small store, trying to survive in this tough market.

They are having the wine tastings this weekend as well and Im sure they had spots for friday or at least deserved a mention...to top it off LFF and blob(b) were fucking invited to the event where Im sure they will drink as much as they can free.

Pisses me off they screw over the wine shop like that.

They screw over sponsors all the time. Mike will talk about some wonderful product he found and someone has to tip in, usually more than once "and you can get that on Amazon, right?" , or, how many times Mike has failed at Weight Not, or how Mike would never step foot in a pollo place, yet had a pollo place as a sponsor.

The point is a sponsor is supporting a cause close to the Failcast Krewe and the assholes bail out for two days when they should be promoting it.

Today is day duex of MOMS "Bender 2012", he probably won't see the light of day til 5:30 this afternoon.

He's probably passed out in the living room wearing the same clothes he had on Tuesday.

But our boy is tough, he's got three more days of binge drinking and junk food eating to go!!

He's no quitter, unless you are a sponsor expecting some support...

Lol this is bogus. It's a podcast. Ppl don't listen the same day...I guarantee the sponsor doesn't care as long as he got his plugs in.

Wow. I've only been poking fun at TMOS for a week or two, and I've already been singled out for my excellence. I'd like to thank The Academy, WashingTone-Locian, Rob(b), and all the other veteran posters for their support and...

Sociopaths? Do you know what that means? Mike's lack of conscience in the way he treats RJ comes far closer to sociopathic behavior than creative complaining on a public forum. And given your comments, Mike's angry disposition seems to be affecting you so I'd recommend you stop listening to TMOS. It seems to be doing serious damage to your mental health.

"if your a faN"?

It's "you're", as in "you are" dipshit. Ugh, I can just picture you now...

"this probably ain't the place for you"?

You're gonna sit there and suggest that a forum with the subject of "The Mike O'Meara Show" isn't the place for a fan to check in? You double dipshit! It's absolutely the place for a fan to go...to watch know-nothing opinion sewers like you spout off about irrelevant stuff.

"Perhaps you should try and revive radio gods forum and tell them the funny bits of the failcast".

That place was way more negative than this little place. They had some real whiners over there. Even WashingTone-Locian wouldn't hang with that crowd!

That grammar correction is one of the most hackneyed, tired old moves made by forum posters with little else to contribute. This is an internet message board, not an advanced English composition class. That all you got?

Also, there should be a comma between "you are" and "dipshit". Dipshit.

Damn, Rob(b)! You don't even try to disguise yourself? It's a dead giveaway! Sentence structure, your verbal crutches from when you sucked up Don's Slim-Fast farts?

Almost surprised you didn't throw in a "what-not" to endear yourself to us jackanape dipshits! You do get one point, however, for misusing "sewers" instead of "spewers."

So, that brings you up to a letter grade of "D." Putain!

You might like a few famous Jews, since you're into name dropping shit, but yeah, you hate Jews.

You're the kind of guy who would hang a "nigger" in the afternoon and then hang at a black jazz club that same night.

I don't hate Jews, famous or otherwise. I don't drop the n-word and I don't hang around in jazz clubs, though I do like jazz. As for the cheap suit thing. I don't wear Armani, no. Not so much because I can't afford it but because the line of work I am in it doesn't pay to appear too ostentatious. But I don't wear cheap suits.

Funny thing is the Marc and Lowell show were rated as high as the 30's in comedy podcast when it debuted. Oh they were loving themselves thinking they hit it big.,.......Then time passed (reality kicked in) and the initial listeners who gave it a shot dropped off (as to be expected for a mediocre show) So now they're begging for iTunes ratings, just to get ranked in the top 200. Lowell isn't bad at all but Marc is the worst. Get your tonsils removed and talk like a man

From DCRTV:

"Got Cash? Be DC Radio Talk Star - 3/12 - Want to be a DC area morning radio star? Got a pile of cash or know someone who does? You might want to give Metro Radio talker WTNT, 730 AM/102.9 FM, a call. According to station owner Bruce Houston, WTNT "is a broker time station now." And it's looking to replace the TRN-syndicated "America's Morning News" show with someone who'll pay them - and keep their own ad revenue. "WTNT would sell the 6 AM to 9 AM time slot to a personality who would produce his own show and do the selling," Houston tells DCRTV. Interested? Contact Houston at BruceAHouston@aol.com....."

Let's imagine that call to Bruce Houston:

Rob(b): "Mr. Houston? Hold for Mr. O'Meara, please."

[Wipes the Cheetos dust off his fingers, hands phone to LFF.]

LFF: "Bruce? Mike O'Meara, radio legend here. I'm tanned, rested, and ready to return to my throne as the King of AM Drive."

[Listening.]

"Well, I've been doing this podcast."

[Listening.]

"Podcast."

[Listening.]

"Well, it's kind of like a radio show, but with fewer listeners. Listen, this 'pay for the time' thing doesn't work for a seasoned radio pro like me. Howzabout you GIVE me the time, and I'll throw you 20% of the advertising revenue?"

[Listening.]

"30%?"

[Listening.]

"60%?"

[Listening.]

"Bruce, I just don't think we're on the same page; really, for a guy who once got an interview to be the spring training announcer for the Red Sox, this is beneath me. Look, 75% of the ad revenue is the best I can do . . . hello? Hello?"

Mike, you probably won't read this but no one can post critical comments on your TMOS page so here goes nothin'...

No one cares about your drinking. You drink on the show (Wednesday, last week), take four days off, then start Monday's show complaining about how booze messes you up. But you're not going to stop drinking... you'll just try to stay sober on St. Patrick's Day.

Go to a meeting already!

You're a DRUNK! WE GET IT!!!

We've heard all this crap a hundred times before! For more than two decades!

The fact that you still think this is entertainment shows how far gone you are!

Somebody do an intervention on this sad loser already!

And on top of that Big-O reveals he was best man at the wedding he bailed on the show for meaning he had to know about it months in advance.

But clearly LFF needs him because all he can do is ask "How's your weekend?"

Sometimes you almost feel sorry for the big guy.

So it sounds like this past weekend was supposed to be a big deal for MOM because of the Oakton Wine event. So much so that Oscar was afraid of getting grief from LFF for being the Best Man at a relative's wedding on the same weekend. Oscar then delays telling LFF until the 11th Hour. LFF, being the pro that he is, bails on his sponsor and gets shit-faced enough to be out of commission for several days. I'm just assuming since I don't listen to this crapfest.

I went to the wine event and my wife and i dropped 20 at the door-bargain for the tastings and its a good $ to throw at the kids with lymphoma. We bought 3 bottles of wine-freaking spanish wines were awesome. Fuck LFF and blob(b)

"do i have time for 2 more" I really hate the nothingness he brings to the show.

Its really painful that he has to inject himself into the show at least once every 10 seconds. And the laughing at the terrible bits-its finger nails on the blackboard

I do wonder why no mention of the wine store yesterday? Nothing

early on they had mentioned the attic was big enough to do the podcast in. I have not seen the attic so i do not know how much space there really is, but they could move up there and free up the living room and have permemant cables installed....but that might be too much work.

The failcast could be broadcast from anyone's house - the problem there is that O'Meara would have to haul his hung-over ass away from his house.

Even when he was getting paid @ WVRX, he bitched about his commute - whether it's the attic (Won't that be fun in the summer? Look for O'Meara to be begging someone for free air conditioning equipment...) or the basement, I don't think the failcast will exist if O'Meara has to travel to generate the show.

Maybe O'Meara should prevail upon his rich buddies @ Oncor Insurance to build him a proper studio - then a al WTOP Rob(b) could begin the show by bellowing: LIVE!! From the Oncor studio complex on Grant Avenue in Man-ass-ass, it's the Mike O'Meara Show...

If it is broadcast from his house, doesn't that violate some home occupation or zoning type ordinances? You cannot run a business from your house in most places if it requires people working out of your house. Does he not have "employees" coming to his residence??

Home Occupation Facts:
1. Home Occupations are issued only for the residents of a dwelling to conduct a business from their home. It does not permit customers or employees to come to the residence for any business related reason.

i. Make sure that your house is in the City of Manassas. Your zip code must be 20110. This must be your primary residence.
ii. Provide a current photo identification such as a DMV driver’s license or DMV photo id card. This identification must list your current City of Manassas address. The address listed on the application must match the address on the photo identification presented.
*If you are applying or acting as the agent for someone other than yourself, you must present a notarized, power of attorney document, along with your valid photo identification, in addition to a copy of the photo id from the named applicant.
3) Complete a City of Manassas Application for Home Occupation Permit.
These are available in the Zoning office. Be sure to list a telephone number that you will be available at should there be questions during the review.
4) Read the five conditions of the Home Occupation Permit. If you have any questions about the permit conditions contact the Zoning office.
5) The Home Occupation Permit is valid for the specified address and business only. A new permit is required if you move or change business names.
6) Walk through hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 am to
10:00 am. Review and approvals may be obtained at that time. You may drop off an application in the Zoning office at any time, but be sure that the person accepting the application verifies that your photo id is correct, and notes this on the application form. Yep. And the manic laughing at nothing. Literally NOTHING.
The show begins, nothing has happened, and he's already frantically cracking up at the sound of his own voice.

It's pure 1975 AM radio, morning zoo hysteria.

The only time he gets serious is when Mike talks about quitting alcohol... which by now really does deserve hysterical laughter.

Holy Fuck! LFF bails on two days of promotion for the Oakton Wine event. Then, too hungover to get his two or three free glasses of wine, he has the fucking nerve to send Carla there to pick up a case?? For free????

And let's be honest. What are the odds he was too hungover versus the fact he just didn't want to fucking do it?

Classic episode today: Mike has to have a riding lawn mower but they're too expensive. A self-propelled push mower (which he COULD afford) won't work because he doesn't want to walk. He's fat and 52. He doesn't have a job so he has a lot of spare time and no money but he "NEEDS" a riding mower. Poor, lazy son-of-a-bitch immediately got defensive when he suspected Oscar was going to suggest that a little exercise might do him good.

She's GOT to know that (a) he's spiraling toward the abyss; and (b) the gravy train has run off the tracks. The odds that he's going to be generating significant income as a deeeee-jaaay are pretty slim. She's got a job, and she looks good; she can still turn HER life around. Blowhard to English Translation:

Rob brings absolutely nothing to the show and fails miserably at being funny with his attempts at racial humor. He just comes off as racist. When other guys do it, you are laughing so much you never consider them legitimately racist.

100% less Rob is what will improve this show.

Robb has two radio shows. How many do you have, WTL?

Let's just say Rob(b) and I have the same number of radio listeners.

You mean, lately?

The key words in your post are "has been."

Content analysis is a method for summarizing any form of content by counting various aspects of the content. This enables a more objective evaluation than comparing content based on the impressions of a listener. For example, an impressionistic summary of a TV program, is not content analysis. Nor is a book review: it’s an evaluation.

Content analysis, though it often analyses written words, is a quantitative method. The results of content analysis are numbers and percentages. After doing a content analysis, you might make a statement such as "27% of programs on Radio Lukole in April 2003 mentioned at least one aspect of peacebuilding, compared with only 3% of the programs in 2001."

Well that's just silly.

Robb's KCJJ show and the replay of TMOS probably don't get many listeners but they're bound to get a few, even if it's just by accident.

But you're not on the radio anywhere at any time, are you WTL?

Having trouble with math again?

Rob(b)'s pat response whenever someone complains about his use of "Chinaman",
is to ask "What do you call a man from France?"

Well the answer is a Frenchman, NOT a "Franceman".

But no one on TMOS is bright enough to catch the logical inconsistency, and grammatical mistake. So not only is it racist, it's grammatical jibberish.

You had me at "no one on TMOS is bright enough".

Yeah WTL does seem to fall into the trap of forgetting he actually does not have a radio show. And Robb (although fat and pathetic and terrible) does indeed have more listeners than WTL does (who has no show and never will have one).
