Mike gave this page a shout out today. Good to know he reads it.

I could care less about Todd Moore, but at least there was some fucking conflict on todays show. It could have almost been passed off as interesting radio.

Mike the sports fan is one of the more annoying versions of him. Its not nearly as bad as bad husband Mike or bad father Mike or even alcoholic Mike but its up there. He gets mad at Redskins fans, but I haven't heard him mention his team, the Giants, once this season. Coincidence that they are having a horrible season? I think not.

Do you have a timestamp? I don't want to listen to all of the trainwreck, but I would like to hear the shoutout.

Yep, Todd was pissed at Mike and Oscar because of some comments they made about him on yesterday's show.

So Mike mentioned that when you're a broadcaster, people are going to make comments about you sometimes. Then he said, "there's a website where I'm known as LFF...Lazy Fat BEEP! (Robb bleeped out that last word!)

Mike has such a conflicted man-crush on Todd Moore. He obviously hates him for his success and takes every opportunity he can to make him look like a dick; but he's also obviously wretchedly envious of his success and desperate for Moore to like him. It's kind of cute and sad.

Jealous (jelly) of Todd's "success"?!? What success does Todd have?

He's successful at making boring copies of really successful Android Apps (White Noise was about the 50th copy of a more popular sleeping sound app, Compulsive is such a boring, unimaginative copy of Bejeweled that I fell asleep 3 seconds in).

Todd is only successful in using his money to make himself look like more of a dick than Mike. Todd thought that because he could manage his money well enough to afford a nice house and a Tesla that he could demand "requirements" from women he wanted to date. We all saw how that worked out. Even Officer Meg thought he was a douche.

Second, how the fuck is Mike a Giants fan? Isn't he from New England? How the fuck can you be a Red Sox fan and then cheer for a football team from New York? What a clueless fat piece of shit. He's as much from Boston as Paula Deen is.

His dad was a Giants fan allegedly, but he really isn't a true fan, of any sport for that matter. If he was he would still have a job. He is a fair-weather fan to the fullest. He punched out of the Red Sox back in June only to job back on the bandwagon later. He also said he was done with the Capitals when he went on Big O and Dukes, and he hasn't said one word about his shitty Giants all season.

To be completely fair, in the early days of D&M, LFF used to be the token G-men fan in the room, and Don would tease him about it, but at some point while it was still D&M, LFF renounced his Giant fandom and (nominally) claimed to be a Skins fan, showing the lack of character even in sports rooting that marks the rest of his life.

It was refreshing to hear Mike reference the thread today. This is only the second time I can recall him doing so. It is obvious you read this thread Mike so I will offer some opinions from somebody who has been a fan for years and now painfully listens. The don and mike show was great because it was edgy. I was flipping the dial once and heard it and I was hooked. I thought "man these are guys I could hang out and bullshit with". Your podcast lacks that feeling. It is three guys making each other laugh, forgetting about the listeners. Robb doesn't have to have a zinger for every god damned statement. You always say that the show has your name on it but you don't seem to have the ability to carry the show on your own. So you give Robb lots of air time to make references to black and white movies, do an offensive accent, ramble on and just kill the flow of the show in general. Nut up and lead the show. Prove to us that you have talent. And don't ever ever call anybody fat Mike until you drop some pounds.

Too bad there's no way to know this for sure, but it would be great to have a Thanksgiving from Hell pool for LFF. Categories could include:

- At what time will Mike scream at Carla the first time.

- When will Mike start drinking

- Number of bottles and type of beverage Mike will consume

- Number of servings of dinner Mike will have

- Number and type of objects that will be thrown

- Time Robb "Father of the Year" will show up at Mike's to complete ruination of Thanksgiving

- Number of days Mike will successfully swear off drinking after Thanksgiving

Closest to the pin wins.

"I kid because I love" = O'Meara can say anything no matter how insensitive or cruel and take absolutely no responsibility.

Also, O'Meara was insulted that a fan was so bold to ask for a spring training ticket. Apparently he has season tickets for the Sox in Florida and some guy asked if he could get one for his dad. O'Meara accused him of violating the fan/entertainer relationship and was annoyed at the audacity. What an arrogant cock sucker. I'm sure this was one of the TMOS fan site ass lickers who felt he had a little something special going because his name was mentioned on the show. Wake up losers, O'Meara doesn't give a shit about you. When you want to talk, we will be here. (Although we know many of you are here already)

Geez. I have to work today AND tomorrow. PLUS Friday and this weekend!
Think they'll work Friday? Hell no I bet.

I wish no bad for TMOS but a little bit resent their work ethic vs. mine, and I'm glad all they got from me was the money for 2 bonus shows;
one of which I had to complain and didn't get until 3 days later, the other I complained after not receiving and didn't hear back for 3 weeks.

Haven't watched a cast for 2 months. My TMOS entertainment is this thread.

First, I didn't realize there was some entertainer/fan law out there. Second, even if Mike didn't want to give up a ticket or start some precedent, he didn't have to be a dick about it. Third, what do you expect when you beg your fans to paint your house or for toys and diapers for your kid? If there is some sort of entertainer/fan code out there, I would argue Mike broke it a long time ago.

Relax. Breathe. You are among friends now. You don't have to pretend any more that Mike cares. Or that Oscar is entertaining. Or that Blobb is funny. You're free. Say it. Blobb... Blobb... There. Doesn't that feel better when you stop pretending the show is listenable?

Doni mentioned last week that he's going to start a podcast to go along with his the Fan show. That's definitely going to be a three thrown luggage night in LFF's house. Not only does your old radio partner come back to town and get hired by the station that fired you, but he's now starting a podcast that will compete for downloads with your failcast. I'm sure LFF made himself feel better by saying "Don got hired to a radio station. I'm in the podcasting business now so it doesn't effect me". Well it sure as hell effects him now. Another free podcast that, no doubt, will be better than the failcast. I can't fucking wait until the LFF sees how far the subscriptions slip for next year. I'm going to have to go back to listening to hear the tension.

Mike - Carla hasn't left him yet and enough fans are still stupid enough to sustain his nearly $40k a year lifestyle

Robb - Minorities he can continue to make racist remarks about, his Nazi collection and the fact his wife hasn't used her cartography degree to map her way out of this hellish situation

Oscar - Hot girls who are crazy AND dumb enough to think he has money. That, and the fact all of his hair hasn't fallen out yet

Don, Buzz, Marc, RJ and Joe - Thankful they no long associate with these assholes.

Best of is actually WORSE than encore presentation. Best of is "Shit Mike And Robb Found Funny" which is complete garbage. I usually at least fast forward through stuff, but these are instant deletes.

They should go with themes instead.

I'm thankful that I'm not in my 50s and still having Monday morning "flu" like some clueless 20-something who just discovered what a beer bong was.

I'm thankful I've never thrown a suitcase or any other object at my spouse, pregnant or otherwise.

I'm thankful I don't make less than $40k a year and pretend I'm okay with it because it's "on my terms," when the truth is I'm too lazy to do anything else.

I'm thankful that I'm capable of changing diapers and watching my kids when my wife goes to work.

I'm thankful my wife doesn't cry in the parking lot before going to work.

I'm thankful I'm smart enough to cut off dead weight that would otherwise ruin my career.

I'm thankful I'm not a clueless, self-defeating narcissist.

OK.
I was just going to say something along the lines of, why does Mike repeatedly brag (or at least elaborate) on things that ought to be shameful? Why highlight them? I have many failings. While I try not to lie about them, I don't boast about them, either. It seems like Mike is going out of his way to point out how out-of-control his alcoholism is, how he is fighting with his wife, how he can't control his dog, etc. This is indeed a most bizarre form of narcissistic behavior. Doesn't he know that it makes him look worse??

Hell no. He thinks it's funny. Charming even. He really thinks that we're all listening and thinking 'Oh, Mike! You are such a rascal!' He has made no secret that he does not listen to the show. Well, he needs to. Then maybe he would hear what we hear. No one is laughing WITH him. Except Robb.

Most narcissists are incapable of self-reflection and surround themselves with "yes men" who reinforce their bad behavior as a positive thing (in the case of LFF, think of Elvis and the Memphis Mafia on a much smaller scale). This explains why FDB keeps Robb close while showing Buzz the door. Robb reinforces the delusion while Buzz challenged it. This also explains why Mike goes nuclear on Carla over a pan in the sink. Carla splashes cold reality in FDB's face and he tries to shut her down by going off on her "imperfections." I can't see how she puts up with his bullshit.

Eh. I don't think Mike actively "showed Buzz the door." He's far too passive/lazy.I believe he was genuinely angry/shocked when Buzz left-- it wasn't the culmination of a conscious effort on Mike's part to ease him out. I imagine Mike would have preferred to keep Buzz-- but it was more effort to try to keep him (i.e., to make the changes in his behavior and the tone of the show that would have made it tolerable for Buzz to remain)than not.

If Mike invested half the effort in improving his life and show that he spends ferreting out the path of least resistance...but I've already departed reality.

I love that they consider Robb's Apple Store adventure "best of" material, btw.

It's similar to how he explained it during the Todd Moore PUSSFEST: if he talks about what a good party it was, that's not entertaining (in his mind). But if he gins up a conflict, that's entertaining. Then he proceeded to devote a good portion of the show to talking about what a good party it was.

Fuckwaddle can't tell a story, can't let someone else tell a story, and doesn't know what he's doing. Dogshit, drinking problem, gambling problem, and being a dick to Carla are literally all he has. And while we're talking about his drinking, he's even a lightweight there: Miller Lite is his favorite beer (because he's a sorority girl who doesn't like the taste of beer) and he still gets hangovers. He's a walking PUSSFEST. Remember when he hired a personal trainer?

In the spirit of the holidays, can you imagine being invited to Dogshit South for a meal, let alone having your Thanksgiving hanging on Fuckwaddle's fragile ego and massive drinking problem?

How can someone claim to love Jameson's but can't handle Miller Lite or Guiness? Then again, didn't he slam down half a case of beer at a Caps game? I imagine too much of anything will give you "the flu."

Robb's Apple store adventure is a great example of what a spineless lapdog Robb has devolved into and a great example of how entitled Mike thinks he is...As far as actual entertainment though? There is none...

So I had a minor heart attack this morning and have spent the day in the hospital getting a bunch of shitty tests done. My wife was cool enough to bring me my laptop and I have remained in good spirits by reading these posts. God's work, boys.

On a completely random note, oh my how hospitals and technology have changed. While the medical advances are cool enough, I'm equally as pleased that I can play internet poker (for real money) while hooked up to an IV and getting a blood draw. Viva USA!

But the thing that made me the most proud was when I looked at my cardiac-approved menu and noticed one of the menu items. PORK FUCKING CHOPS!!! While I don't think this goes so far as requiring us to actually apologize to LFF, I think we might have to lay that one to rest.
