As to the last point, the idea that LFF's attorney told them to remove buzz from the RAW shows is just a lie.

I'm about LFF's age. If I have more than around 3 drinks, I fall alseep. LFF's tolerance has built up to the point where he can't get drunk unless he drinks what's really a dangerous amount. Of course, he's also a nasty drunk who decides he's tough after a few drinks (see, knee), so he's the complete package of alcoholism.

Has Marc actually left TMOS?

With both his lack of appearances on TMOS, and his own podcast leaving MORE and expanding, it seems so...

Of course, with TMOS, instead of making compelling listening from the truth, they hide behind non-disclosure and denials.

From DCRTV:
"So proud... to see that WTNT is still using Buzz Burbank's image and likeness to promote the brokered Mike O'Meara Show. A certain "Joe E. Weider" couldn't pick up the phone? Oh Mike. You obviously can't run, and it looks like you can't hide. You have been mocked. - ZombieWoof"

That one is always a good one. In it Mike said he wanted to lose about 40# to get *down* to 285. That pegs him at 325# in 2006. As a lifelong fatty myself, it is not out of the realm of possibility to emotionally eat to the point where you put on an average 10–20 pounds a year in weight. (7*10)+325=395. Yeah, that looks about right.

Mike's friend, J, you will not help Mike by attempting to get other people, strangers in fact, to change their behavior. You know what you have to do.

That is odd, he's either gone or incognito for some reason.

No post on his Facebook or Twitter since June 14th.

Maybe he really did blow that O'Meara Popsicle stand hoping to find better success hanging on Lowell's coattails.

I've been catching up on this thread ever since one of my former co-workers sent me a link. I can confirm a few things that have been asked.

1) NO one except Mike got their last paycheck when the bar closed. He can claim whatever he wants about having sold his share before it closed or not having made any promises that everyone would be paid, but that's all BS. He was telling us the DAY before we closed that everything was fine and everyone would get paid.

2) You know why we closed? Mike kept giving booze away (a big no-no) and encouraging his servers to NOT card kids who obviously were too young (another big no-no).

3) Is it true that Mike is letting his girls host at a restaurant? THAT I find hard to believe considering what we all, including him, did with the gals at HIS bar.

With much love,
A Former Employee of Mike O'Meara Who Didn't F-ing Get Paid

I heard that and didn't think it showed Robb in a good light, it was a cheap shot.

I haven't heard anything negative from Buzz, in fact the opposite.

That's because Buzz ACTUALLY took the High road...

A few things I've noticed...

On the "Buzz Quit" episode, I remember a comment was made, I'm not sure the exact wording, but it was something to the effect of "There are some who want to step into Buzz's seat and take that fourth seat, but that's not going to happen. This will be a three man show." I'll have to bite the bullet and re-listen to the exact wording, but I took it to be a big FU to Ronick who was hoping to fill Buzz's spot. The next Marc and Lowell show was their announcement that MANDL would be leaving the MORE network.

Then, on today's show (6/20), they were interviewing the intern Pony Boy (Matt Bloom) and he said he frequently visited is mother, who lives in Virgina Beach. Oscar stated that his trips would now be "less frequent, at least Monday thru Friday". Does that mean that Pony Boy has been somehow "promoted" from an intern who was there when he had the free time, to a regular Mon - Fri employee? Are they grooming Pony Boy to be Marc's replacement? Inquiring minds want to know!

I cracked up at those posts about Robb sending out his resume.

Who's he going to send it to? Who wants to hire a professional butt kisser?

Too bad Liberace's dead.

He does a stellar job of managing their internet presence, sending out merchandise correctly and on time, and signing them up for the best affiliate programs the internet has to offer any other living room podcaster. He's clearly worth every cent of the 25% he was possibly to make with Buzz's departure.

Pony Boy clearly fits the mold. He's an unemployed loser desperate for work who lives with his parents. These are prime qualities that represent an individual Mike can easily bully and manipulate. It's obvious he will replace Marc.

At least we can still eat at McDonalds while we plug Weight Not. You really can eat there and still preach the goodness of the program. Who knew???? Don't even get us started about Krispy Kreme!!!

You must be high or Marc's mom. The website issues, Marc and Lowell show, him not getting back to people, showing up late, not doing his fair share of the physical work, etc... Chronic is the weakest link of the whole TMOS chain without a doubt. Robb is a close second but at least he, Mike, and Oscar bring something to the table regardless of how much we all think they could do better.

Marc is a total nothing. TOTAL NOTHING.

He is there for one reason only - that is all they can afford. Seriously, a lot of people listen to the mid tier podcast they put out there but even Mike knows that Marc can't catapult them to anything better. The only reason Mike won't pay to get someone better is because Mike won't pay someone more than he makes. If he would get rid of Chronic and pay someone a bit more who could deliver, they may actually get some real sponsors and push them a bit further.

I'll list them again, the website issues, Marc and Lowell show, him not getting back to people, showing up late, not doing his fair share of the physical work, etc... The list goes on and on.

If you really think that Chronic is the hardest worker of the group, then you are not paying very close attention.

But at least there are a lot of ways to download the show. Not like a monkey could do that after you train him... Jeez.

I would love to believe this..

I thought the restaurant closed because of fines from inspection. It would have taken something like 64k to right the ship.

Can you elaborate on #3? What did Mike do to the female employees other than eventually marry one of them?

I never heard anything like #3, but #1 is VERY true, and I know two different former employees there who told the same story, and were VERY pissed.

Everything negative you say about Marc is true but what I said was he does a great job of getting the show out to lots of podcast site. I really think he is the one who has done this work. I do agree he's no support person or tech guru but I still maintain he puts more hours of the day and more mental effort into the show than anyone else, even if it's not always effective.

"Funnier than Rob(b)"

"In better shape than LFF."

"A better businessman than LFF."

"A better husband than LFF."

"More sober than LFF."

Something like 12 minutes of Slim Whitman in the middle of yesterday's show. I fast-forwarded through most of it, but at the beginning of that segment Mike said "You won't find this on your typical radio show."

No kidding, Einstein -- must be that AU degree kicking in. Rob(b), it's not less boring because it's on a podcast.

A little Slim Whitman goes a long way in today's world. And RoB, just because Elvis once opened for him doesn't make him all that. There was a time when Elvis was not a star. Hendrix once opened for The Monkees. As Jerry Lee Lewis said to Chuck Berry, "Follow that, nigger!"

And Mike, Fat Drunk Baby, please stop calling it "my ride". Imagine what you would say if Jerry Lewis called it "my telethon". You bring dishonor to the 20 people who showed up, and to all the fallen.

Everyone who posts to DCRTV, please remember to refer to Mike as "Fat Drunk Baby".

How amazing would it have been to see that show and look back on it later? Apparently the crowd would shout over Jimi with "bring on Daavyyy"; and the last show included Hendrix flipping off the crowd.

I was off work today so I thought I would watch the show live.

What a mistake that was. I am surprised Robbs head doesn't spin off during the shows. After every comment he makes that head spins everywhere looking for acceptance.

Mike looks larger then ever.

The cop should of sat up straight instead of having her roles of belly fat ovetake her t-shirt.

I didn't see Cronic at all.

The only good thing I noticed was no one was censoring the chat.

If you get annoyed listening to the show try watching!!

You don't.
Especially todays show I would of FF through the whole thing. There was nothing good today.
The Todd segment was brutal, if thats what they are calling entertainment, the end is near!

FF'd the vignette, FF'd the Todd and Meg show, no news, listened to the audio vault. If I had to judge -- and I do, or I wouldn't be here -- the absolute best part of today's show was the "Let's get down to bidness!" at the beginning of the show.

some notes:

1. I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn open for the Moody Blues in San Francisco. Yes, that was odd. Sort of a mixed-up vibe, for sure.

2. I tried to listen today and that will be the last time in a while. It's a Morning Zoo show -and they never were very funny to me. They also died out about 12 years ago.

3. The Penn Jillette show suffers a similar problem: A fast-talking guy surrounded by laughing ass-kissing hyaenas. It ain't good.

4. These sorts of Morning Zoos are ALWAYS run by fat white guys. The sort of guys who really had no status in their old high schools. This explains the nervous craving for acceptance and the never-ending need to be 'cool.'

5. Why don't these guys learn something from this thread? I mean, I'd like to see the show be better. I started listening 15 years ago to D&M because of the impressions and class clown idiocy of Don. Then I got used to the characters including Robbbbbb and Buzz. Listening became a sort of habit. A soap opera, even. But now the funny is very thin. Why won't they listen to us? We have more perspective than the new audience.

6. Even back in the old days I got the 'impression' that Mike was not a very nice guy and an angry drunk. I didn't even think that Don liked him. Now he is getting worse. A real train wreck. A bad dark comedy. He should get into rehab and drop his drunken cop friends and get a new life. Then they should drop the ass-kissing and laugh track. Stop Robbbbbbb from dominating and laughing all the time. Stop the Oscar teheteheteh laugh.

Is this not good advice? Are we haters for trying to bring this excellent advice?

It fails at 12:04 in, about sixty seconds after Mike said the bonus show was going to be about James Gandolfini, and about fifty seconds after Mike immediately made it about him. I thought "Christ, I don't want to listen to this" and then it shut itself off.

Is this God's way of fast-forwarding the show for me?
