There are worse photos out there. These are among the least offensive.

My point being, not all life is equal in the eyes of the GOP, apparently.

Amazing that they care so much about life before birth but once a child has been delivered, they could give a fuck less. George Carlin expressed it best:

I specifically remember when the Authorization for Use of Military Force resolutions were being drafted and debated. It was the GOP who put in the provisions that specifically called for the killing of children and sytsematic and brutal torture. I believe they were clauses 7 and 11 in each resolution.

Saddam Hussein provided no imminent threat. The GOP, and a lot of Democrats, unfortunately, decided to sacrifice innocent people for short-term political gains that had very little to do with national security. In fact, in retrospect what we did in Iraq has probably created more long-term problems for national security.

No, no, no, I am talking about the GOP advocating for the killing of innocent children like in the pictures you posted. Please stay on the important and insightful topic you posted. Joe Biden said Iraq was a success for Obama. I believe him.

The Bible is filled with sick stories of violence toward innocent children. I don't doubt that alot of these conservatives sit in church and justify these horrors with this nonsense.

From the book of Isaiah:

15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.

In other words, God was one fucked-up psychopath

I am a Democrat, but a Christian first. I thought this thread was about Republican hypocrisy. The great part about being a Democrat is that we are tolerant of all people. The desire and need to ridicule anyone in our party because of what they choose or not choose to believe should be averted. Leave bigotry and scorn to those that have pervected it - Republicans.

Just my two cents.

What about all the women and children of Vietnam that were killed by Kennedy and Johnson?

That is OK, because it is not hypocrisy. As WTL will probably point out, Democrats don't go around talking about the sanctity of life, so it is OK that Democrats support senseless murder and torture.

It's not alright. But it is at least consistent.

How many people have been killed since the 20th century by Communist Governments to achieve the "Workers Paradise" that Obama wants to bring us?

Right, that is what I meant. Democrats consistently do not oppose torture and senseless murder. That is why I support them.
