Which is better and why ?

I've worked all around the U.S., my general impression is that people from the East coast are more uptight than west coasters.

Mid-West or the Middle-East?

been to the middle east. fucking shit hole, i'm still finding fucking sand in my stuff.

west coast fucking rules for weather, hands down. the majority of people who live on the coast and surf daily in the ocean while being kissed with the sunshine tends to make people happy.

this area NOVA, suck ass! just shitty attitudes around here.

I would say from the area of the West Coast I've been to (Palos Verdes, Manhattan Beach, I prefer the west coast.

Well just from the dumbass snarky answers here I guess you know. THis is the headquarters nationally for bad attitudes and lack of talent, I think there should be a big banner: we are all assholes and have no innovation, but are very good at earning big salaries and doing nothing of meaning. Interestingly the diagnosis of learning disabilities has a direct correlation to the degree of eastern movement, so either more kids are diagnosed for normal behaviors or there is something in the water here. It sucks.

West coast can generally handle more people in the room because of the slots; east coast use more circular movements and are more chaotic that way.

If this question is to help you choose where to live. Go west coast.

West coast, sunny and warm to the south, wet and cool to the north. Big on looks and style and drugs.

East coast, varied weather-experience all the seasons, but high humidity from mid atlantic south. Big on bank accounts, who you know, and what you 'own'.

But then, the East coast actually has enough water to sustain its population, and certainly more choices of states to live in, a good thing given California's current economic state.

I am from L.A. West coast has more laid back attitude true but with pressures to look a certain way, drive sports car and own Gucci even if you live in a shack. East coast people are all about work and big salaries, obtaining the mcmansion...education.

It depends on WHERE along the East Coast. Virginia on down is pretty good. Nice weather, friendly people, and a lot of good job opportunities. The further South you go, the hotter the women.

West Coast is very shallow and rude in the Southern California area. In the Northwest you see lots of hippies and rain people and tree huggers. A lot of new agey things

The Northeast is a terrible region of the county. Long hard winters, bitter people, and high rates of suicide. Stuffy boarding schools that are really just expensive country clubs for teens, and lots of people who think they intelligent when they really aren't. New York is one of the ugliest places I have ever seen. Sorry, but I won't be "spreadin' the news" about that dump.

SoCal is not rude at all. Shallow..yes.
