VCLA / PRAXIS II

I just completed the Praxis II: Elementary Education Content Knowledge. I received a raw score of 162. Does anybody know how the raw score correlates to the final scaled score? Is it usually lower, higher, or about the same? I also received an 88% on both portions of the VCLA as a raw score. Any clues there?

White people problems? What are you talking about? I am asking about test scores on teacher certification examinations. Those examinations are the same, regardless of sex, age, or ethnicity.

I just took that exam today and got a raw score of 176. Did your scaled score pretty much match your raw score? I need a 150 to pass. Thanks for your help!

Praxis 1 is not required but some universities require the test for their programs.

Again the Virginia Department of Education doesn't require the Praxis 1.


Verification of completion of a bachelor’s degree and other degrees.
Proof of completed course in child abuse recognition and intervention
Proof of Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED Training and Certification
Passing scores on the Virginia Communication and Literacy Assessment (VCLA)
Praxis II content area assessments
Submission of completed application
Payment of non-refundable processing fees
