Hi all Fairfax Underground Posters!

Apparently, today has become a good day to remind everyone of Cary’s posted forum guidelines, which, recently, have been violated repeatedly without consequence. This will not continue. Many of you have done well for a few weeks…not needing any Moderation but, a few of you, and you know who you are, have disappointed me..

Cary tries to be very flexible on FU, but has requested the main page have some threshold for acceptable postings. Let’s remember Cary has not requested any financial donations from you to keep this forum up and running. Please respect him and the Fairfax Underground forum.

While, it is unrealistic, to imagine the forum could be antiseptic enough for the Vince 1 types…since we are not going for a Disneyworld environment, all of us can do our part to try to keep the threads moving in a productive informative manner. Humor is obvious and enjoyed….but, outright insulting attacks on other posters need to be taken off topic. Maybe, just think of it as your local pub….take it outside.

2 or 3 individuals have been spamming the threads in question. They have been posting under the following names:

Because of the abuse these posters have been banned for 14 days. If the abuse continues after 14 days they will be banned permanently.

After a brief analysis of both your scrolling marquis and TheMeepers scrolling marquis, I am only able to discern one significant difference.

VERTICAL (HTML) scrolling verses HORIZONTAL (HTML) scrolling. That’s it!

I’ve reviewed Cary’s posted “Forum Guidelines” and, so far, am unable to determine if any posting violation has, in fact, occurred by any of the posters involved in this situation.

We here at FU strive to limit censorship of our postings. This matter is still under review.

Hi all FU Posters,

It appears, FU has weathered another storm……and things are getting back to normal!

I would ask all of you to please respect Cary’s guidelines and, although, the subjectivity of the most recent moderating by Cary was possibly confusing, we have learned there is a very significant difference between horizontal animated gif scrolling verses vertical HTML scrolling. Now everyone knows. We can just chalk it off to a misunderstanding. Hope that clears everything up!

We all agree this is Cary’s forum, therefore, whatever he deems unsuitable, he can and may delete. Everyone needs to respect his ultimate, supreme authority in these matters.

Alias really went all out of his way to try and make people think meeper was the Moderator. He signs in as Moderater (w/ an e...why didnt he just use the the 'or' one? To further confuse and cause doubt?) saying he should have used a different nazi chic pic (trying to be meeper). Not that I recall, but I have changed names overall before (FairFax0r or something like that) and then changed back but that was years ago.

Early this morning, when you and Alias were discussing your drug treatment program, I was asleep. I have no idea whatsoever about the drugs being discussed other than Ambien makes you sleep walk and talk. Is it possible, you take this drug and actually post as “Alias”….maybe you and Alias are one and the same, since there is clear evidence you both were awake at an ungodly hour and you both know all the HTML language.
