Bad news for certain debt collectors, such as those who pretend to be CPS…

Just stop those damn car warranty people from calling. And they "spoof" their caller id. When I got a live operator I asked for their business address and phone number. He said "I am not allowed to give that out" I said "I asked, by law you have to" He said "yeah right" and hung up.

And do not EVER call that number as it appears on your caller ID. You will get a lieing message saying "to be added to our do not call list enter your telephone number". Bingo, then they have a valid telephone number.

Fairfaxunderground rules: Lilliputions, not ok. Midgettville ok. I got it now.

I noticed a lot of telemarketers are using 877 numbers now.

The rule at my house, if I don't know the number, it just goes to VM.

And the same is true of the door too...

I'm getting robo-nagger calls now that spoof the Caller ID to look like
a phone number from my own Contacts List (smartphone Phone Book)

I mentioned this to a friend of mine and she said she's getting the same
sort of faked calls

This seems to be a gray area of the Truth In Caller ID Act of 2009

Anyone got comments on this practice?

I block anonymous and private numbers, but during the election, the robocalls still got through. They only show up as UNKNOWN NUMBER or LOCAL AREA CALL.

LOL! Classic!

The article mentions Ryon Alan Gambill.

I actually had the pleasure to tangle ass with that prick in an Arizona civil case courtroom in 2005.

When I had someone serve him papers, he turned around and threatened to kick my ass for daring to sue him.

Later, on the day of the trial, he is nowhere to be found and I get a default judgment against him. Turns out, he is a poor-ass punk bitch who actually have several outstanding judgments against him and is more thank just bankrupt. So, anyhow I get to collect on his ass.

RYON: If you are reading this, then congrats on getting out of prison. Know this: I'm gonna ride your ass for the full $30,000 you owe me! You'se my bitch now!
