The whole bad news good news thing depends upon who was taken out when the led began to fly....... It's all relative.

Don't forget the 40 some shootings in NYC over the weekend. Of course, Bloomberg took the chance to spout his anti-gun stance, yet he himself holds a concealed hangun permit in NYC, one of the few in that city.

News today says it was 52 seperate shootings in NYC, with 67 victims including 3 killed. I guess that's at least 64 poorly-placed shots.

Not to mention an army of cops for his personal protection. If I had that I probably wouldnt find a need for a gun either. Kind of like the human blimp rosie odonnell. She kept spouting about no one needing guns then we found out she had an armed bodyguard for her protection.

Hey but guns don't kill people!

It should be mandatory that anyone over the age of 21 carries, the playing field would be leveled and you could go back to eating your pancakes after the patrons or wait staff disposed of the problem.

Yeah, that's a great idea because having a bunch of drunk 21 year olds, that already think they are invincible, carrying loaded weapons is going to stop this type of stuff from happening. Now requiring everyone over the age of 21 to have a gun in their house may be a different story but all that will do is reduce the number of break-ins or make the burglar double check that no one is home before breaking in and stealing your gun. I support our right to posses and carry guns but we don't need anyone like you adding your two cents, you're just setting the cause back by being an idiot.

Even if the waitstaff or other patrons are carrying they won't be able to react fast enough unless they routinely practice drawing a handgun and target accusation. Add to that the stress of the situation and you'll most likely end up with a waiter that shot himself in the foot or a dead patron that took the bullet that missed the perp.

What's the best method of practicing target accusation?

Probably to stand up and yell an accusing remark to the target. Typed accusation instead of accusition, although I can find references to both I believe accusition is the proper term.

"Accusition" is just a misspelled version of "accusation." I think the word you're looking for is "acquisition."

That said, I would accuse the target of being an illegal immigrant job stealer. Seems like an appropriate level of force.

And still we have fools out there who have no moral issue, no qualms of conscience about boycotting legislation instituting higher requirements for handgun and tactical firearms possession or the prohibition of handguns altogether. Everyday, every hour there is another handgun fatality. Oh, it's going to happen, eventually the straight thinking citizens and law makers will say "Enough is enough, Fuck the NRA, we demand change!" And the law makers will have to listen, my complaint is that it is not happening fast enough, I want it done today. I can't stress this enough, please all good and caring citizens, please support any anti-gun coalition you can. It is the right thing to do.
