mustache waxing

Hey y'all, i was just waxing my mustache and i got wax on
my fingers. I can't get it off.
any ideas?

i already burned them. I melted the wax in the microwave
and tried to fish out the applicator that had fallen to the bottom of
the plastic thingy. So, i immediately ran cold water and stuck them under.
I think that actually made the wax stick harder to my fingers.

Oh...and i'm a woman.
