The news is calling it an "anti-gay slur", he's been fined and of course there is the talk of sensitivity training and all that happy puppy shit.

The media did the same outrage thing with one of Palins younger daughter after she called someone a "fag" on Facebook.

What is the problem, besides the technical he received for the on court outburst?

He really should be suspended for the rest of the season.

Hate speech is unacceptable.

In the military, racial slurs, and now sexual orientation slurs can be referred for court martial.

Everyone understands that Commander Owen Honors, despite an otherwise impeccable record, was sacked because of the vicious mockery of the gay lifestyle in the videos he made.

its all about protecting the fanbase of the WNBA, which is an NBA property. The WNBA players and fans are all nappy headed lezbos. If Stern doesn't protect fags, then he implicitly doesn't protect lezbos, either. With the WNBA struggling, he can't risk losing fans. And maybe he's gay.
