Random gift ideas to send my boy in Afghanistan

My friend is a Marine stationed in Afghanistan. I want to send him the most random thing possible to help lighten the mood for him and could use some ideas.

Eesh, virtually none of our troops are currently eating MREs overseas, we have dining facilities that feed all but the most remote forces. I promise that hot sauce is very much so a commodity that would be appreciated.

When I was at Bagram we had a conex that a NG unit from California transformed into a Starbucks. In their civilian jobs they all worked at the same Starbucks store together. They brought all of their barista shit with them and people sent them the beans, syrups etc. as donations.
