Marines Being Sent to Libya

Just saw something on the internet that we are now sending in ground troops into Libya. Ostesibly for "humanitarian" support

I saw the same article.

It is important to note that this the US marine monkey brigade out of Cypress. 60 highly trained monkey's. I read another article today about the US Navy sending in attack groups, of course these are highly trained dolphins.

A little reading comprehension would nice...

Fairfax General: Just about everything should go here. Anything of interest to Northern Virginia as a whole should be posted to this forum.

It does not have to take place exactly in Fairfax County.

The Marines have already been there, sitting off the coast as part of the Amphib TF. The recent unit is the 22nd MEU, going in to replace the 26th MEU (Who rescued the downed F-15 crew).
