Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
I really think that Sunday's Fairfax Underground party at JV's Restaurant was great, it was a real trip to meet all of you and I thought things went pretty good. It was a lot more fun than I expected, I'm glad you guys switched it to JV's rather than Applebee's. I thought that band was pretty good too, I'm not a big fan of alt-country stuff, but that guy was pretty entertaining, you'll have to invite him back to the next one. I was actually surprised that Cary himself showed up and bought a round for everyone, but I think the biggest surprise was the "mysterious" Ms. Mojo, who lurks here but never posts anymore, made an appearance. It was nice to meet you. And Gravis man, thanks for bringing the telecom equipment so that TRICKIE could dial in from the Caribbean to join in on all the fun, that was really funny. Hopefully she'll be at the next get together. It's pretty cool that Inkahootz offered to be designated driver like that for everyone, I can't believe everybody fit into that minivan, lol. Thanks man for doing that. Oh, and Genevieve, tell REStonPeace that I will talk to Cary and Bdimag about that whole Richmond thing, the one that is next month, not the one next week. I could probably be at the Richmond one, but it's probably easier if they just come here for it instead. Hopefully it will get worked out before the next time everyone here gets together, just let me know. It was great to meet all of you, you guys are definitely cool!
edit: took me 4 months to realize i misspelled the word "underground" in the subject line.

Did anyone find a cell Phone? I think I left it on the table.(Hopefully). I"ve been trying to call it, but I think it's turned off. I had a great time meeting everyone. Everyone was so different them I had expected. You'all really know how to have PARTY. I look forward to meeting more people next time.
Margie - I think I have your cell phone. I realized when I got home that there were two phones in my purse instead of one. We have the same model, so I must have picked yours up off of the table after those shots. I'll PM you!
My favorite part of the evening was when a drunken Trickie pulled her top down to reveal some shrunken bean bags. People laughed, then cried, then vomited.

What happened to our deal "What happens here, stays here". Anyway, I wasn't drunk...I tripped over Inkahootz foot (Did you notice how many drinks that guy had!!! He can drink more then anyone I ever met.) Enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to next time

Hey Genevieve,
The only reason he was flirting with me was because he thought I was you - but I set him straight - REMEMBER - he came over and kissed you right in front of RIP!
Yes Id like to thank you ladies for buying me drinks all night. THe bartender Laughed at my fake ID. Apparently Marshall Arts from West Dakota is reaaaally funny.
I had my Harley out ealier. Awesome day for riding. I opened up one of the saddle bags and noticed a sweat shirt in it. I think it might belong to somebody from the party that I gave a ride to. Trickie I think it might be yours. PM me and give me an address and I swing by and drop it off tomorrow.
Ride On!

Speaking of motorcycles, can anyone recommend a motorcycle course? I would like to learn how to drive a motorcycle before I make the decision to purchase one...

Genevieve,
NVCC offers a beginers course. I have seen them taking classes at the Alexandria campus. The bikes are smaller which are easier to learn on. You have to be carefull making the jump from training on a small bike then going to a full size Harley. There is a big difference in weight and control.
If you take the NVCC course and pass then you can avoid the DMV road test for motorcycles. NVCC will give you a certificate for taking their road test.
I am so sorry I have been incognito lately. That wild party did me in!!!! If that sweatshirt that Lurker found says "MUCK FICHIGAN" on it and is red and gray, yes it is mine!!!!! I am the diehard Buckeye fan and was hoping to see someone from Appalachain State at the party.
Genevieve, when Mike O'Meara from the Don and mike show (borefest now) got his motorcycle, he took lessons at that Harley place on route 50. Don't get a Harley though. They are not feminine. I would get like a pretty pink Ducati or a Vespa.
who the fuck are you? I never even seen your faggot ass here? Wow, they must hace been high to invite some worthless pedophile like you to their party, fucking lamer.
I am the guy that just got you to flip your top. Pretty funny actually. I'll stop though seeing as you have some serious problems with repressed homosexuality and most likely a history of abuse. I just looked at some of your previous rants and it is pretty apparent. I will stop adding on to all your troubles.

Nah, I'm volunteering elsewhere now. Maybe next fall.

GREAT!!!! im in....any ideas on where we should meet this time? I think a Saturday evening would work out better (last time, some of us had to go to work the next morning).

I can only go if you have it during the daytime because I recently got my windows tinted so dark that it is no longer possible for me to drive safely unless it is broad daylight.

LOL! Based on the other thread, that makes you a drug dealer! ;)
It might be safer to meet the people on FU in the daylight, it will keep the vampires away
I think we should pick a time when inmates have internet access at the Fairfax County jail. Certainly don't want to leave out some the most famous FFXU posters.
