Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
Just wanted everyone to know that for the next three Saturday's I will be doing Pics with Santa at the Petsmart in Reston.
The cost is 9.95$ (10.95 if you don't have a Petsmart card) five dollars of which goes to the dog rescue that my wife and I own.
You can bring your pets or kids for a good picture.
I have had pictures taken with dogs, cats,a boa, all sorts of lizards,a tarantula, and a couple of rats.
Thanks,
Santa(graymoose1)Claus

So if I walk up and mention your handle, you'll acknowledge it?

That's really cool. My father in law totally looks like Santa when he gets his winter beard going. When he was in better health would go to the grandkids' schools/daycares and do pictures and stuff.

yes I will, and tell me your handle so I know who you are. Truth be told I have written my name and cell phone number on this site a couple of times, due to the business I own.

Graymoose,
Do you perform any singing or dance maneuvers as part of your Santa Claus act? I would love to stream video on YouTube of you as Santa singing and dancing with our dog (6 year old irish setter named Grizz). Are your dances fast? He loves to be around fast dancing as long as you make no sudden moves toward him, and he loves to hear singing and would very much to enjoy it.

doesn't "fast dancing" involve sudden moves?
what happens if you make a "sudden move" toward him?

He won't bite, mainly just grit his teeth and growl. I'm afraid a sudden dance move might increase his sense of danger and he might get agitated and try to jump up at the large beard if he sees it flapping. We keep him leashed at all times though and he's a good dog.
