Yes, she is obsessed with me.
There's an old saying, "you always hate the ones you love" and I think that applies to Alias and her disguised love for me.

She desperately wants affirmation that a non-biblical/quranic god can still exist, but can't get me or anyone else to give it to her directly (even though we've had this discussion numerous times at FU).

The fact that she feels compelled to comment (albeit nonsensically) on every thread I post having anything to do with science or religion, tells me she has her doubts about God. She obviously has lost faith in the biblical God and now is on her way to becoming a rational human being (as soon as she loses her "Space God" theology).

She wants to believe that atheists are sad, miserable, boring and have nothing to live for, but deep down inside, she knows we are the exact opposite and that religious people are the sad sacks.

Every time she responds to my posts, she falls more in love with me.

Not as much as I love Numbers.

The reason athists know more about the bible is because they did the research and came to their own conclusion.
Most religious people take it on blind faith without ever cracking a book.

It's amazing how much Christians don't know about the teachings of Jesus. They just focus on the death and reserrection and treat his teachings like a bunch of white noise.

Back in the day, the band I was in was playing with another band and during a break, we decided to order some pizzas. We were all in agreement that pepperoni with extra cheese was the way to go....except the guitar player in the other band. He tried to explain how he couldn't eat meat with cheese because he was Jewish.
When we asked him why, he had no idea.

Anyway, we had to get half of one pizza with just cheese and the rest of us taunted him with the delicious scent of pepperoni. He wanted so bad to have a slice, but he was afraid to for reasons unknown to him.

I'm basically an atheist and have read the bible three times...it is important to know why you believe something (or not) and to be able to back it up properly.

I don't see a problem with atheists reading the bible. As others have intoned here, it's often the believers who have never read the bible properly yet believe it through and through based on what others have taught them. If you ask me, that's a poor way to build ones faith upon. Not just Christianity mind you, but any religion - most people are fairly ignorant of the religions they claim to believe in.

Athiests deny God so adamantly with NO proof for their
outlandish assertions, when SCIENCE the BIBLE and COMMON SENSE
tell us the EXACT OPPOSITE of what these athiest preach because they
are actually deniers of THEMSELVES.

MOST 'athiests' are HOMOSEXUALS who have an extreme self loathing disdain
for their own sexual pervertions, and BLAME God even though the
Bible clearly states that we were one with nature at one time and
were created in the eyes of perfection.

Look at the world around you and you will see the remainder of
that Biblical garden of natural perfection, in which viruses, bacteria,
and homosexuality -had NO part.

I do not have a clue what you are talking about.

Is Richard Dawkins and Bill Maher homos? I have seen Bill with a lot of smoking hot chicks. But if you say he is homo, I will blindly agree.

Sock Puppet - I think what you're saying (and correct me if I'm wrong here) but Bertrand Russell said - one cannot prove the existence of god just as one cannot disprove the existence of god - both are an impossibility.

So my official religious stance is agnostic bordering atheism - I can't prove to a believer god does not exist just as they can prove that it does.

I think most people, including many Christians, are really agnostic but can't admit it to themselves or their friends and family. I think many people go to church because it is expected of them. Not because they fervently believe.
