Is there anything fun/cool to do down in Culpeper?

What is it like? Have any of you lived there before?

They have a fun airport to fly into and out of.

Plus you can try to find all the spy places in the area, active and former.

Wait a minute!

I just checked the image of Culpeper (*) Airport and see that it has RADICALLY changed - used to be a little GA field with no taxiways so you had to keep you eyes peeled when getting to the end of the runway to take off - no more, now this place is MAJOR!

Forgot the (*) part:

(*) Does anyone else feel that Culpeper should be spelled Culpepper?

I agree, it should be spelled CulpePPer...

What is it like down there? Are there mountains in the town?

Is it crowded like it is here in NOVA?

Who has been there recently?

Our dog breeder is in Culpeper. It's still pretty countrfied down there. Many of those guys who come around here selling firewood are from Culpeper.

There are some nice restaurants and shops in the town of Culpeper.

Overall verdict: Nice scenery, quiet, boring.

Culpeper County is the same as rural Loudoun and Faquier County. A lot of country people. Frindley. Not too many negroes, although quite a few for a town of that size. You can go to the library. Its halfway to Charlottesville, so you're close to both ends of the spectrum.

I can't take the Klan seriously. Their chosen outfits make me laugh every time I see them.

The only thing to do in Culpeper is to stop and use the restroom and load up on some more caffeine while you're taking a drive to Charlottesville.
