An 8 person invite
Posted by: STAUFFER ()
Date: October 18, 2010 10:05PM

Got this idea from a question asked of political candidates:

If you could invite 8 people from history to sit down at a conference and talk about the world, who would you invite? The goal of this conference is to help you understand what formed our 21st century existence and make good decisions for humanity's future.

Eight people. Who would you invite?

These great leaders have the right answers on overpopulation, race relations, and food distribution.

LOL. From your link: "Sir Alexander Fleming's 1928 DISCOVERY of penicillin in bread mold was a tremendous breakthrough for medical science."

Sheehan didn't INVENT Penicillin, he completed the first total synthesis of penicillin, but his methods were not efficient for mass production. The best that can be said is that he invented a process.

You are REALLY retarded. Yes, he invented a process, NOT Penicillin. Are you seriously too stupid to see the difference? You wrote "The Inventor of Penicillin," NOT "The Inventor of the Process that lead to the mass procuction of Penicillin." Again, Penicillin was DISCOVERED not INVENTED.

You are right about one thing though, YOU are done here.

No. It's fun watching a moron get a bug up his ass over nothing in a vain attempt to prove he is the smartest guy in the room. Do you think I really give a fuck about this?

Yes, and also each person sitting at the table will be handed a bag and allowed to take one of the following, a katana, a blunderbus, a taser, a super soaker filled with LSD, a can of silly string, a bottle filled with Jack Daniels with no label, a normal looking hand grenade filled with confetti and a jack in the box filled with shrapnel.

Hey Mr. Big Dick, not that I care if it was invented, discovered or you pulled it out of WTL's ass but if you're going to correct people you should proof read your post first.

"You wrote "The Inventor of Penicillin," NOT "The Inventor of
the Process that lead to the mass procuction of
Penicillin." Again, Penicillin was DISCOVERED not INVENTED."

What is a procuction?

I'd invite seven random people and hold the gathering in a tiny ass room in the middle of New York City. The guest of honor would be Henry David Thoreau.

Could you arrange to have Christine O'Donnell and Sarah Palin on the list. I'd soooooo love to see the chemistry with Thoreau.

I've had dinner parties where i just mix up the most random group.

I don't worry at all about how they'll get along or who's sitting next to

who.

Some have been disasters, some have been fun
