mine was a 76 nova, i did everything a 16 year old girl would do, and it went to nova heaven after a nosedive into a 12ft ditch.

Honda Civic, I broke both my legs in it when I got t-boned by a garbage truck, it's now in my garage until/in case it should be called up to be used as physical evidence in the trial. Fun times.

76 Chevy Vega. Some jerk ran a red light on 7 and I broadsided him going 55. Turned his brand new Pontiac 6000 into a wreck. All I got was a scratched, pushed back bumper. He also got paralyzed, but he came out of it. Insurance totalled the Vega because of a busted radiator. Vega no more.

What was your car?
I drove the red car first, until it had mechanical issues. The mechanical issues would of cost me more to fix then get something new.
What'd you do in it?
I drove that fucker all around the basement, wrecked it a couple of times into some furniture. Drove it up and down neighbors driveways and even went 4-wheeling on the neighbors lawns. Got stuck in a garden once and yelled at by Da' man. The good ole days of mocking authority!
Where is it now?
I'm not sure, my parents made me get rid of it after the mechanical issues. Last I saw a guy tossed it in the back of a big green mean looking truck.
I decided to become a biker after that and got myself a cool trike!

A 1964 corvair. I bought it for 50.00 bucks in 1973 drove it for 8 yrs, then sold it for 75.00 to a guy who wanted it for parts.

A 5 speed 1984 Izuzu hatchback. It came with no stereo, no A/C, no power steering, power windows or power brakes. No, they weren't broken, they just weren't added when the car was built. And you could fill it up for about $8. It's wasn't a "cool" car, but it got me from A to B. I got high in it, got laid in it and I miss it. I handed off to a family member when I "upgraded" to a slightly better POS.

By the way my CRX actually only weighted 1922 lbs.
And was even lighter after I got done with it.
I was just using factory specs that I could verify

True. On a ford they always rate the H.P. at the flywheel. After the power goes through the tranny driveshaft and fods extra heavy duty rear end more than likely you would loose about 20% of the H.P. On the other hand that engine had quite a bit of torque.

A used 1977 Audi Fox. Pea-soup green and plagued with problems. I was in that irritating place in my financial life where I had just enough money to repair the car, but not enough to ditch it. I did learn a lot about car repairs and maintenance, and I do think that alone may have been worth it in the long run - - it is surprising what you can do for yourself if you are broke and have no choice. The Audi was a piece of crap; I used to joke that it must have been made in Germany by a Turkish guest worker on a Monday morning.

'72 Dodge Colt (really a Mitsubishi). Pumpkin orange with black rally stripes. An awful car in every way except it ran like a top and at that time when we all weighed 125, four dudes, $7 of gas and a cooler of beer and three hours to Ocean City.

It was a real piece of shit. I bought it used for $400 in 1982. Somehow I managed to fuck a couple chicks in it by sitting in the rear seat and folding the front seats forward - not easy. I recall it had trouble stopping and bottomed out with 4 people in the car.
The shifter knob always fell off. Ended up donating it to Newark NJ undercover police - they said it was perfect.
It was a real piece of shit. I bought it used for $400 in 1982. Somehow I managed to fuck a couple chicks in it by sitting in the rear seat and folding the front seats forward - not easy. I recall it had trouble stopping and bottomed out with 4 people in the car.

After crashing the ‘81 Cutlass hand-me-down from my grandmother after two weeks — man those quilted velours seats could put you to sleep — the first vehicle I had to actually buy was an ‘86 Mazda 626 Turbo. What a sleeper.
Had lots of fun in it with my girl, and embarrassing rich kids in their parents’ Bimmer M cars at stoplights — unless there was enough straight road to get past 3rd gear. Great car for its vintage; had electromagnetic adjustable shocks and was super quick.
So many quickies and beejs in that car. I think we shot the headliner a couple times.
