The case the USSC will hear is The National Rifle Association v. Maria T Vullo New York states former superintendent of New York State Dept Of Financial Services acting on orders from former disgraced Democrat governor Cuomo who is remembered after he resigned in shame after numbers of women came out with reports of his sexual abuse towards him
The case involves New York conspiring to "financial blacklist" the NRA by suppressing the free speech of the NRA
To suppress the NRA's pro second amendment free speech New York officials made threats to banks and insurers doing business with the NRA to harm the gun rights group financially using " guidance letters" threats and other means to get these NRA associates to " drop" the NRA which caused some officials doing business with the NRA to see New Yorks measures as compliance dictates
The US Supreme Court granted review of this case Nov 3 2022 it may be heard before the 9 Justices next year
