I am a loctitian. I am black and I wear locs. I love my locs and love anyone regardless of race that want to rock them. I feel it is the individuals desire based upon spirituality, personal choice, style, lifestyle or whatever. I also do loc extensions on people and I feel that everyone is entitled. I do locs on black people, white people, asian people and mixed people.

Honestly, it's really pretty sad that most everyone posting on here assumes they either know why a white person has dreads, that they are a dirty or lazy person, or worse that they should be beat up for a hairstyle. Does it really offend you that much? Why is that? Is it because a white person is doing something that is not culturally accepted? Because they are taking something from the black community by wearing their hair a certain way? Should I feel the same way about a black person who straightens their hair or dyes it blonde? People are people, and for those who can't get over this hatred of others based on stereotypes or the way someone looks do us all a favor and stab your tongue with a rusty screwdriver and go play in traffic. The world is a tough enough place without brainless egos like yours projecting what truly is your own self hate disguised as a superior opinion.

It is very prototypical of people to assume that if a white person has locks in their hair, that they are lazy bums. This is the same thing that happens to a lot of people of ethnic origins. People begin to assume that because they look a certain way...they must be a certain way.
Come on you guys...this is America...the land of the free.. Why cant we just get along with one another and accept our individual differences. Even if you don't like something about another ethic group or race...that does not mean you have to perpetuate stereotypes about them.

It's apparent that the OP is a very sheltered person. He doesn't get out much, doesn't have many or any friends, probably has social anxiety disorder as well as many other mental and personality disturbance and will die a very lonely person.
