They’re not even defending Trump, not saying he was right to do it or trying defend his actions in anyway. Instead they’re just making absurd comparisons to Hillary, Obama, etc.

Dems don't prosecute Dems. No matter what. Republicans don't prosecute Republicans. Dems own DOJ at the moment, so Republicans get prosecuted.
Funny thing is, Trump owned DOJ for four years. Despite the massive, overwhelming evidence of guilt that he, Donald Trump, personally possessed, his DOJ did not do squat re. Hillary, Hunter, et al. Sat on their ass the whole time, despite locking Hillary up being about the closest thing to a campaign promise Trump mad.
Now Republicans have to wait their turn.
