Sure some judges seem to go along party lines, but they were appointed by people because they held similar views to theirs, but they go their own way sometimes. I mean, basically, to say that "Republican appointee, NO WONDER" is a knee-jerk response. I don't know many details of what his ruling was exactly, but it's just possible this judge is correct on the law and the case should go forward. I mean he didn't decide who should win, just if it should continue.
