I think about it every day. I’m so sick of being an underpaid wage cuck. Some days I ponder buying a food truck and just selling hot dogs, Curley fries and mozzarella sticks. I’d probably make more after a year or two doing that than I am now.

I started my own business 35 years ago. I am now in the process of winding it down.

Why do you see it as sad? My partner and I devoted 35 years to building and maintaining a business. It has been good to us over the years. It is time for both of us to move on. We would have preferred to have some of our employees take it over. They preferred the safety of a regular paycheck over the benefits and risks of being an entrepreneur. Their choice. Since barriers to entry in my field are low there is not a huge market for selling the company, so cashing out is the best option.

I'm eager to, but haven't dared yet. I'm still discovering all financial aspects. As for the financial performance, I'm thinking about magento vs shopify. Maybe someone can tell me a couple of points I should pay attention to while choosing? Based on your experience?
