She talked about taxes, specifically gas taxes. She said not only do the Democrats want to tax gas, they also want to put in meters to see how much you drive, and tax you again. Then, she said, they also want to tax electric vehicles.

Meters in cars was a Libertarian idea, and since electric cars pay no road tax via a gas tax, the tax model for road maintenance, repair, and building is no longer fair and workable. In a nutshell, she thought all these taxes would be piled on to each other, they wouldn't be.

She is also anti abortion rights, for tax payer funded religious charter schools, and I got a whiff of her being anti-Muslim, and homophobic.

Just want to say that we are overtaxed and raising taxes will eventually lead to another civil war when both parties keep up with their abuse of the tax payers.

That said, there will be a point when electric vehicles account for most of the vehicles on the road. Taxes on gas alone will not support both the roads and grift from the politicians so they will devise a way to capture that lost tax revenue by passing further increases that capture both electric vehicle and combustion vehicles owners alike.

Winsome Sears is the first black lieutenant governor who did not rape at least two women, so there’s another barrier that has been broken.
