Is it worth adding a video to a landing page and why?

I am absolutely loyal to them as a user. Sometimes I like to watch videos, especially if the service or product is something "off the beaten track", and sometimes they get boring.

More often than not, landing pages are focused on encouraging users to buy a product, service, or subscription, but it needs to be done almost immediately, in a very short period of time, before the user loses interest. And what can quickly and fully describe the product/service except a video? I'm definitely for it, we ordered website animated video.

It was a bug-infested nightmare that fucked up the entire network. Took the IT guys, plus outside consultants, three weeks to get our shit back on line. The fucktard who recommended it was fired, and is now so unemployable in IT that he is an Uber driver.
