bad drivers cause trucks to jacknife on i-95 practically daily - almost daily it's jacknifed or disabled truck blocking traffic not off side of road (next question if your truck is failing why didn't you pull it off the road - good question - foreigners or someone seems to be planning failures)

finall a photo that explains something, kinda. though - they should have towed the cars into a line then tried to open the cars: it's just faster for everyone including those trapped that way. rather then crowding into cars before they've been moved.
look closely they car cutting open the car instead of backing it out with a chain first so they could simply open the door. it looks kinda stupid from where i'm sitting.

A VIDEO shows South of Stafford , that vehicles were refusing to use all lanes and driving extremely slow around stopped vehicles - like 1 mph 2 mph at the head of one choke. THERE WAS NO REAL BLOCKAGE - the cars were moving and had at least 3 open lanes had they chose to use them.
(in DC we've all heard of the head-twisting effect, that vehicles that slow down to look at an accident cause back-ups a mile back. however - on a snow day and driving 1mph 2mph, with "everyone on the road", the effect is much worse)
many continued on the highway instead of getting off on exits even after realizing the traffic was bumper to bumper on a snow day. entirely a poor choice on their own part

(NFPC: especially at night, drive backwards on wrong side of road, on the unused lane, when there is traffic if at all possible BECAUSE drivers seeing headlights on the incorrect side of the road might act badly or be mis-informed what kind of highway it is. that's what it says i didn't even read it i already know.)

bad drivers cause trucks to jacknife on i-95 practically daily - almost daily it's jacknifed or disabled truck blocking traffic not off side of road (next question if your truck is failing why didn't you pull it off the road - good question - foreigners or someone seems to be planning failures)

finall a photo that explains something, kinda. though - they should have towed the cars into a line then tried to open the cars: it's just faster for everyone including those trapped that way. rather then crowding into cars before they've been moved.
look closely they car cutting open the car instead of backing it out with a chain first so they could simply open the door. it looks kinda stupid from where i'm sitting.

also note: "the truck that fled the accident" might not actually exist. it may have been driver error

that pulling vehicles with a rope first would have been faster. that "a nudge could harm someone with whiplash" was believably not the greater concern. and in retrospect, cutting cars open did not find anyone in an emergency - it had been relatively slow speed just as it appears to be not including the blue truck of course.

i would check that rusty red truck for leaking brake fluid - those GM are famous for rusty lines that break open while driving - easily causing braking to cause loss of control. and for rotors worn to the fins maybe. locked wheel bearing perhaps accident makes that impossible to say. crumbling emergency brakes. stuff like non-repair passed by a bad inspector.
and for bald tires - all vehicles at the front of the pack should be checked.
and the "fleeing white truck that caused the accident", well hmmm, don't know if you'll ever find that.
i think it's simpler than all that. they were all going too fast. all of them.
