The hipsters liked to laugh at Meade. They got bored and soon moved on to another buffoon. That really isn't the same as being 'inspired' by Meade. The mindset of Hipsters was around long before hipsters and lives on today. Chris Chan's audience is an example of this. The Distorted View audience is an example of this. Obviously, if Meade had the same charisma as Chris Chan, his audience would be larger. However, is that really the audience Meade is aiming for?
