Chris Chan has a gofundme, should Meade get one

Becoming the laughing stock of the internet is hard work you know.

Someone has started an ongoing "Gofundme" which has raised over $5000 for Chris Chan.

Should someone start one for Meade?

They both like to hump inanimate objects.

What would the donations go towards? More musical instruments? Dinner at a 5 star restaurant? A makeover for Gretchen?

You have a point. Consumer debt rarely gets backed on Gofundme.

I was thinking about a gay conversion therapy camp if we can find one that is still open.

What better way for Meade to convince the sceptics of the world he is 100%not gay.

Hey, three tries for a quarter. The problem with that is Meade's pride. Does it extend to the point where handouts are allowed. like this obviously is

He doesn't seem too ashamed to be begging on the internet with his Patreon.

Good thing we are not contributing to it.

It is our way of keeping him humble.

We seem to care more about Meade's eternal soul than he does.

On Patreon, at Meade Level 2 you get merchandise. What sort of Meade merchandise is out there? A coffee mug with his face on it?

You get 'Ad-free content' on all levels of Patreon. Of course, Meade has never gotten enough followers to actually have ads, so it is a moot point.

Truth be told, the last thing anyone needs is a piece of crappy Meade Skelton memorabilia.

The most exciting news on that front comes from the Urban Dictionary. One can buy a Meade Skelton face mask!
https://urbandictionary.store/products/gaiter?_sp=486ae570-13bf-41c6-81b6-7c3e18f29e7f.1627655396593&defid=3846654&utm_campaign=onpage&utm_medium=web&utm_source=define

What is great about the mask is it will piss Meade off and he won't see a penny of it. Of course, wearing it in public is tantamount to shouting "retard alert" wherever you go. but it is nice to know it is an option.

Chris Chan used to carry a lot more hate in his heart for minorities and now appears to be much more tolerant. Maybe Meade could learn something from that.

Telling people you are not a bigot while continuing to spew bigotry doesn't give people the impression you are not a bigot.

Meade actually has a small amount of talent. Also Meade is not as repulsive physically, he has no criminal record, and he's not mentally ill. Chris did the most disgusting things online and now he's pretending to be a woman.

Meade's eccentricities do pale in comparison to Chris Chan's.

However, Meade is pretty physically repulsive. And his 'small amount of talent' puts him at the level of the best singer in a local church choir. The world is full of churches. Meade would benefit from getting treatment for his mental health issues. He has a lot of pent-up anger which explodes every once in a while in a fit passive/aggressive nastiness.

Overall, Meade is like Chris Chan without the charm.

The island of Japan, especially the main city of Tokyo, has embraced the Hipster culture in a very, very big way. Hipsters exist everywhere and that is no bull. Meade was a part of that scene but in this area. He was looked upon as the inspiration and the main honcho in this country of Hipsterism, till he blew it. Meade needs to sell his music and his philosophy of the whole movement directly to the Japanese people. He can't rely, which he has a habit of, on other people doing the hard work for him. He needs to hire a promoter, a person who knows what the hell he is doing. Beatles didn't hit it big till they hit on a promoter, a manager by the name of Brian Epstein. Meade, the opportunity exists, it is there, get on the ball and take charge. Japan is the place to start. Promote yourself!!!!

The hipsters liked to laugh at Meade. They got bored and soon moved on to another buffoon. That really isn't the same as being 'inspired' by Meade. The mindset of Hipsters was around long before hipsters and lives on today. Chris Chan's audience is an example of this. The Distorted View audience is an example of this. Obviously, if Meade had the same charisma as Chris Chan, his audience would be larger. However, is that really the audience Meade is aiming for?

Classic examples of hipster individuals in American culture are: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Peter Lawford; the Brat Pack; Andy Dick;James J. Bullock;Rev.Jim Bakker and Tammy Faye Baker;Gallagher; Truman Capote; James Taylor. Hipsters have always been a part of society.

The examples you give are correct. However, none have the same 'look' as the stereotypical "Hipsters". Stereotypical Hipsters have been gone for almost a decade. However, the mindset still remains. I am hoping some of the children of the Hipsters who laughed at Meade grow up and also laugh at Meade. I think it could be a bonding experience. All generations think they are inventing things but are pretty much the same under the surface.

The majority of Hipsters as we knew them were mostly Gen Xers and early Millennials . When Meade wrote the Hipster song, it was about "peak" Hipster time from 2007-2013 Era. For a Time from the early 2000s to around 2015 they were a staple a sub culture that eventually went mainstream. Once that happened it was over. The hipsters grew up or got older , either got married or just started to become actual productive members of society instead of living of their father's trust funds. The hipsters didn't tire of Meade, the hipsters just left the scene. They were replaced with SJWs, a far more toxic and less friendly group.

Like the Chicago Eight, Tom Hayden, Jerry Rubin, Abbie Hoffman all sold out to the MAN. Always happens with libtards, start off looking out for you (or so they say) and all end up millionaires selling books and stuff. Meade will NEVER sell out.

Meade Tshirts are a collector's item. 10 years from now they predict it will be worth 50 times what you invested to buy.

the chicago 8 were really Yippies not Hipsters nor were they Hippies although they existed during the Hippy Movement. The Beatnixs were the predecessors of the Hippies. A good example of what they called "derelict Hipsters" were in Underground comixs, the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers

Truer words have never been written.

From what I gather, Meade's song "Hipsters Ruin Everything" was a rallying cry for the Hipsters living in the NOVA area. He had the opportunity to turn the whole movement in his direction,, if he only saw the opportunity... and had the gumption to do something about it. Maybe he never saw it and realized its potential, maybe he just didn't care about fame.

Considering we are still talking about over a decade later, Meade's Hipster following was pretty short-lived. In fact, by the time he wrote "Hipsters ruin Everything", the Hipsters had moved on to other retards to laugh at.
