The two that were driving refused to show their drivers licenses. That's an detestable offense. The others disobeyed a lawful police order and ran. That's also an offense.
If they stayed put then all except the drivers wouldn't have been legally arrested. And it's very possible that the drivers would have been released with a summons

Their arrest was illegal. They were abiding by the peaceful journey law, Title 18 of US code, sub section 926A, see also the case of Young vs. Harris which ruled that solely being in open possession of a firearm per se constitutes no offense. They will sue state for unlawful arrest and will win, if for no other reason, blacks have state and federal government by the balls due to all the wokeness.
