Will be interesting to see if Independence Day is still celebrated for USA’s 250th anniversary.

Hard to imagine a man like Washington being honored in our era. Colonel Tye & Cornplanter are the types our leadership admires.

Actually, last year (under Trump) was the first time Americans didn't celebrate 4th of July. Our wannabe President didn't take the virus seriously and we were all in lockdown. We would be in the same situation this year if we hadn't kicked his sorry ass out.

True Americans will be celebrating on the 4th, while the insurrectionists get their own fireworks in jail and and the other Trumptards wallow in sorrow that we're not an authoritarian dictatorship led by a third rate con man from NY.

Yep, but not the battle tanks that draft dodger and photo-opper Trump wanted. It's time to get back to having fun. This year it's Dunk Tanks and wet t-shirts on the mall.

Untrue. Many public celebrations were canceled or reduced in size but Americans did celebrate and the govt said they would not enforce anything if people celebrated.

By the way, we celebrate Independence Day. We do not celebrate the 4th of Joly.

Huge celebration at Mt. Rushmore last year with Trump. Came back to DC and did another one at the Lincoln Memorial. Huge!
