Popeye's has a 20% military discount. Bojangles is only 10% and Church'e has no military discount at all. Some Kentucky Fried Chickens have a military discount and some don't.

thats what I was thinking. seems like the chicken skin would be all sloppy and slimy. In the oven the skin gets all crispy and shit. I could see cooking skinless / boneless breasts in a crock-pot.

Yeah, those are good. There are orange chicken crockpot recipes that are very good.

I am assuming you mean boned chicken which takes longer to cook. But your estimate is much too long. Six hours tops on low,if you are not cooking from frozen.
After six hours switch to WARM.
Use stock not broth, add red onion to get more flavor than yellow onions, and I like to not skin the potatoes.
Now, if you have an air fryer, when cooking chicken, use olive oil to coat the pieces. If fried chicken is on the menu, I recommend baking the pieces in a standard or convection oven at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes before dipping and air frying. Air fryers are notorious for missing spots.
This method ensures the chicken is evenly cooked. Also, put Old Bay in the flour mix. You will love it.
I don't recommend steaming chicken, but steaming fish is the best way to go. Remember, chicken needs an internal temp of 165 degrees to serve. If you are cooking chicken thighs only, make it 180 degrees.
The new wave makes great soup fast .Of course it only takes 1hr 30min in a regular cooking pot over a gas flame Bojangles is the worst chicken I have ever had down on I95 at the Lewistown rd exit greasy salty a huge thigh given to me as a breast by a fat pimply faced teen .
I like to freeze chicken breasts in a deep freez then slice them while still frozen and serve them on rice like sashimi. The freezing kills parasites and bacteria. It's delicious.

That doesn't sound safe. I cook my raw chicken in the microwave.

I couldn't care less about the food safety aspect of what you are doing, but that sounds truly disgusting. Raw chicken? No. The texture and taste would be nothing like raw fish. Yuck. But hey, if you like it, continue on.
When I was homeless and living in a inexpensive motel room I would cook in a crock pot about 5 nights a week. I used liners to make for easy clean-up . I would cook chicken thighs with carrots onions and potatoes. It was good as hell.

Chicken thighs, carrots, onions & potatoes are all cheap as hell, and make a complete meal. I've been where this guy was. You can eat on $20 a week.

I'm thinking you could mix it up a little when things are on sale...thighs would get old. Also, I have money and I don't cook EVERY night. Seems like an awful lot of food for one person per day. I live alone and you cook one day and eat for two. Why the hell would you want to cook every day???
