If someone is shitting themselves, they need medical help. Telling them to take psych meds for their anxiety requires going to a doctor to get them prescribed. It would be foolish for him to medically address his anxiety from his pooping himself before addressing the issue of him pooping himself.

I’m not sure if a physician is always the best. To the person who wrote this, I think your intentions are good. In fact not a bad idea. Yet maybe this person has gone to doctors and been let down.
