in 2016, I got into grad school for international relations hoping to get in to the foreign service, then Trump was elected

I and many others hoping to get in to the field were dismayed. We knew there would be no hope of getting a job in IR with such an anti diplomatic rube like Trump becoming president. I ended up not going knowing I wouldn't have a path to a job. Now that he's out, there's a chance of not only a job, but that grad school will be paid for. Thanks Joe!
