How do you handle scam calls from India?

Do you get scam calls saying you can reduce your annual percentage on credit cards, or, you made a 1500 dollar order from Amazon, or They need to confirm you new medicare account, or you Social Security card was found in a drug bust, or you need to fix your microsoft windows, or you are due for a refund...
How do you handle them?
I used to give them the name Mike Pence. Now, before I answer I say "Alexa, play Indian Music," when I answer and get an"agent," I turn Alexa up high and hold the phone next to her playing Indian music.
Sometimes they will ask for my email address and Amazon password. I give the scott.wheeler@fbi.doj.gov. They usually hang up immediately.

I answer with "Frank's Abortion Clinic, No Fetus can beat us!" They never say anything after that.

I tell them I am voting for Trump. They get really pissed and say "No. Trump Make America Great Again" "You supposed to vote Biden he destroy America and make your country weak and fucked up"

The fuckers who say they're from microsoft security I mean...
I pretend to follow their instructions for, say, 30 minutes, then I gripe that my eggo still isn't right. The I explain that I thought they were calling about my defective toaster. they become very exasperated.
It's quite engaging, especially in these difficult quarantine times when I have so few opportunities to needle shitheads, and I have learned how to swear in Hindi.
I pretend to follow their instructions for, say, 30 minutes, then I gripe that my eggo still isn't right. The I explain that I thought they were calling about my defective toaster. they become very exasperated.

I liked the music idea. I just got one asking about Medicare, so I slowly turned up the indian Music from the Echo Dot, then started yelling "Turn down the music, I can't hear you!"

The longer you keep them on the phone, the less time they have calling and potentially scamming others. It is like a civic duty, or a goodwill toward others thing.
One company made $400,000 in five months doing these scams before the Indian Government shut them down. I take pride in believing I helped keep that number from being higher.
