If you really attempt anything like that, be super cautious of releasing poisonous vapor. Don't breathe in toxic shit.

I melt down all my stolen jewelry with my meth pipe lighter. Gold and silver melt at a very low temperature.

Selling a chunk of melted gold or silver is suspicious. A Pawn broker will report it to the Police unless you found it in some mine. Gold is controlled.
