Is it illegal to carry a nail gun?

I see people using a nail gun propelled by a .22 blank. in carpentry Can you carry one as a defense device? Keep one in your car?

You definitely can carry a nail gun. Home Depot sells them, I suggest you go
get one today. Then borrow your moms sewing machine and make a holster.

and you definitely want the red or purple loads for it

A guy once got a nail implanted in his skull accidently with a nail gun . So you know it can cut through bone at close quarters. So that's a good thing.

the nail gun being discussed here is for attaching things to concrete,
do you think concrete is harder or softer than bone?

The guy with the nail in the head was shot with an air powered gun for
framing/roofing. Are you going to drag around an air compressor to power
your air gun as well?
