Pulling a page from our very own Washingtone-Locian and Vince(1), Mayor Bloomberg had the following exchange with Katie Couric:
KATIE COURIC: Law enforcement officials don't know who left the Nissan Pathfinder behind, but, at this point, the mayor believes the suspect acted alone.
MAYOR MICHAEL BLOOMBERG: If I had to guess -- 25 cents -- this would be exactly that, somebody-
COURIC TO BLOOMBERG: A home-grown?
BLOOMBERG: Home-grown, maybe a mentally deranged person or somebody with a political agenda that doesn't like the health care bill or something. It could be anything.

Here's the problem, they arrested a Pakistani American trying to flee to Dubai. They are also making arrests in Karachi.
What did Bloomberg have to say about that?
Mayor Michael Bloomberg said following Shahzad's arrest that the city "will not tolerate any bias." He said that also applies to potential backlash against Muslim New Yorkers.

That's all fine and good, I agree that there should be no backlash against Muslims.
But, here's the problem, he was clearly falling victim to this "blame the Tea Party" for any and all violent acts. Thereby demonstrating his stupidity and bias.
