NO ONE CALLED HIM THE YOUNG MAN, LIKE HE THINKS HE IS.
I WAS READING THE COMMENTS AND EVERYONE WAS SAYING THIS GUY HAS ISSUES, HE IS VERY WELL KNOWN AS THE GUY WITH A MENTAL ILLNESS.

Many neighborhoods have a local 'tard. A guy far too old to still be living at home. Everyone knows they are just 'off'. And the particulars aren't really discussed.
I grew up with one we named 'penny Ernie'. If you threw pennies in his direction, he would get off his bicycle and pick them up. I have one near me now who is nice enough. I small talk with him when walking my dog and he is walking his mom's. He is currently yapping about this great village he is creating in a Nintendo switch game. Overall, he is harmless.
It seems Meade is just another one of them.

Everyone has issues. How we deal with these issues is what defines us. If I choose go out to confront a group of people and have a big crying breakdown when the first person counters my confrontation, I'm going to come off as Meade did.

Some comments I read said he was a young man. Or at least they obviously think he's younger than he is. Not a middle aged cry baby that he truly is.

That's where he blew it. Crying is OK but not in a situation like that. He has to try some mental dicipline, no one wants a cry baby as a hero, or a fat hero.

If you had a 41-year-old man who has yet to leave home haunting your neighborhood, you would think he has more issues than his weight. Though if he actually went to a head shrinker, he might get some help with his overeating disorder and actually lose weight successfully.
